The hospitality and friendliness of the hotel.
You should check with pension for your reservation. If they cannot transact your credit card, your booking can be canceled and booking will not mention this to you.
The staff of the hotel were very nice and the breakfast was great. They were accommodating when we asked for a wine opener, a cheese knife, and some plates to use in our room.
There was not enough soap or toilet paper provided in the room. Even after the housekeeper came - we had to go ask for these items ourselves. The beds were quite hard.
Very spacious room for three people, super-clean, and bright. Quiet residential neighborhood really just a 15-minute walk maximum from Marienplatz. Very nice breakfast, sweet and attentive "staff" (owners?)
Slightly awkward placement of shower head, so that you have to stand on top of the drain while showering; it's not as comfortable as if the shower head were placed on the wall on the side of the bath rather than at the end.
Alex and family were excellent hosts from check in until check out 4 days later. The staff was attentive and prompt with all questions and requests, always with a smile. The ample breakfasts were more than anticipated...an fantastic value for the price!
Housekeeping was somewhat lacking in our private bathroom...some evidence of previous water damage perhaps. Bed mattresses were ok but not for those who require a softer mattress.
Good location near public transportation
Close to the city center, marienplatz (20min on foot)/ cleanliness /generous breakfast, salty and sweety (they cook for you a plate of sausage, omelette and vegetables)/ calm neighbourhood / parking (7 € / 24hours)
Bed a bit small in length / one shower for 12 rooms / fast welcome (no advice on what to see, do in Munich)
Excellent location 2 mins from U Bahn and easy to get to from the airport. If you want to walk you can get into Marienplatz in 20 mins. Near to Octoberfest site, a 5 mins walk. Friendly hosts. Generous breakfast, more that enough to eat for two. Clean, good decorative order and quiet area. Remember that there are external blinds operatied by a tape behind the curtains to keep the room warm and dark at night.
Excellent location and cleanliness. Good breakfast. Basic but very functional furnishing. Quiet and calm place.
The room was very clean. I was a little worried about sharing a bathroom with other guests, but the shower and toilet facilities were very clean, the area was quiet, and had a good morning breakfast included; the location is great only a 2 minute walk from the metro station; 5 minute walk from a market, and local restaurants who speak English and have English menus
Very good location, 10 min walking from Marienplatz. Polite and helpful staff. The breakfast was rich with all sort of choices (fresh bread rolls, fruits, scrambled eggs with sausage and muesli etc). Safe parking is available for additional charge (7 Euro per day). I would definitely stay again.
The room was clean and comfortable. We were moved to a private room upon arrival. Breakfast was delicious, It was easy to get to places since it was very close to official transportation U and S Bahn, Street cars. I would stay there again.
Cannot think of anything
Excellent location; friendly and helpful.
Really liked how close the subway was. The central station is close by as well. Only two stops away from City center.
If I had to pick out something it would be the fact that we only got one key to the room.
The best breakfast I have had in a long time.. really impressed.
Location is close to a subway stop, and reasonably convenient to the main downtown. Would be great location for Octoberfest. Value was decent: we paid $175/night for a 4-person room. Room was decently modern, but not much character.
Breakfast wasn't that great and a bit disappointing. Staff was fairly dull. Bathroom was tiny.
Suitable location, friendly reception, good breakfast
The location was great; right next to a U-bahn station two stops from the main sightseeing area. Amazing and generous breakfasts in the morning, complete with eggs, meat, cheese, delicious bread and much more! Staff was friendly and the rooms were nice.
Unfortunately, you have to pay for wifi.
the breakfast is good
wifi is 3.5 euro every day every device
Like the transportation.
Could walk 1 mile to Marian Platz or to train station if you are able and also very close 100m to the metro stop. Only 2 stops to Marian Platz and then you can wall the city center. Breakfast was great. Had parking and price was reasonable.
Room was just on the edge of wifi coverage and had trouble at different times. I would be nice if it was free.
When we first arrived we were a bit skeptical only because we didn't know what to expect as the hotel is located near apartments. However, this was by far the best place we have stayed at in Europe. The rooms are incredibly clean! The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are very clean. The breakfast is fantastic!!! The location is great it's such a beautiful city and only a ten minute walk to the centre area. There's a great bier garten and restaurant only 10 minutes away that was also a highlight. I absolutely love this place. The staff are very attentive and really understand hospitality. I look forward to my next stay here.
Breakfast is ok and location perfect
The staff were not friendly at all, not the least welcoming, plus they told us off when we went downstairs for breakfast 10 minutes before the end of breakfast time. We didn´t have clean towels in four days, we didn´t have soap nor shampoo. I definitively don´t think there is a good quality/price relation, the hotel is overpriced for the services they offer, having into account there is only one toilet and shower in each floor for several rooms. On top of this, we had to pay for wifi. I have read other comments about the staff being girls and very nice, talking spanish, etc. The staff we met were mostly men, they were not german, spoke little English, and no spanish at all
The best thing of the hotel is the breakfast. All the food is freshly made with staff to serve. You are free to ask to refill the food. The best I have ever have. It is even better than that in buffet style.
The building should be a residential one. The hotel is on the ground and first floor. There is a entrance to the reception at the back of the building which you are hard to locate it and you need to ring the bell to ask the staff to open the front floor to you.
Nice modern room, very clean. Nice breakfast also.
No place to leave the baggage after check-out.
Bad service/ Cheap Breakfast :4 dried breads and fewer slices of hams and cheese, poorly the egg was cut into piece for 4 people. Unstable wifi cost 3.5 Euro within one device. Tiny space. Don't ever consider this pension!!
