Suitable location, friendly reception, good breakfast
The location was great; right next to a U-bahn station two stops from the main sightseeing area. Amazing and generous breakfasts in the morning, complete with eggs, meat, cheese, delicious bread and much more! Staff was friendly and the rooms were nice.
Unfortunately, you have to pay for wifi.
the breakfast is good
wifi is 3.5 euro every day every device
Like the transportation.
Could walk 1 mile to Marian Platz or to train station if you are able and also very close 100m to the metro stop. Only 2 stops to Marian Platz and then you can wall the city center. Breakfast was great. Had parking and price was reasonable.
Room was just on the edge of wifi coverage and had trouble at different times. I would be nice if it was free.
When we first arrived we were a bit skeptical only because we didn't know what to expect as the hotel is located near apartments. However, this was by far the best place we have stayed at in Europe. The rooms are incredibly clean! The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are very clean. The breakfast is fantastic!!! The location is great it's such a beautiful city and only a ten minute walk to the centre area. There's a great bier garten and restaurant only 10 minutes away that was also a highlight. I absolutely love this place. The staff are very attentive and really understand hospitality. I look forward to my next stay here.
Breakfast is ok and location perfect
The staff were not friendly at all, not the least welcoming, plus they told us off when we went downstairs for breakfast 10 minutes before the end of breakfast time. We didn´t have clean towels in four days, we didn´t have soap nor shampoo. I definitively don´t think there is a good quality/price relation, the hotel is overpriced for the services they offer, having into account there is only one toilet and shower in each floor for several rooms. On top of this, we had to pay for wifi. I have read other comments about the staff being girls and very nice, talking spanish, etc. The staff we met were mostly men, they were not german, spoke little English, and no spanish at all
The best thing of the hotel is the breakfast. All the food is freshly made with staff to serve. You are free to ask to refill the food. The best I have ever have. It is even better than that in buffet style.
The building should be a residential one. The hotel is on the ground and first floor. There is a entrance to the reception at the back of the building which you are hard to locate it and you need to ring the bell to ask the staff to open the front floor to you.
Nice modern room, very clean. Nice breakfast also.
No place to leave the baggage after check-out.
Bad service/ Cheap Breakfast :4 dried breads and fewer slices of hams and cheese, poorly the egg was cut into piece for 4 people. Unstable wifi cost 3.5 Euro within one device. Tiny space. Don't ever consider this pension!!
Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Convenient location. .
Bathroom on our floor was out of order, but they were doing their best to fix it.
The breakfast was the best we had the entire month in Europe! They even gave us salmon one morning! Private bathroom was great and the room was very large. Good location to the U-Bahn and you could get anywhere really fast. They had bikes for rent which were cheaper than the actual rental companies. We were arriving around 21:00 so we just emailed them the morning of to let them know and someone was there to let us in. Didn't need to call.
No free Wifi?! It was really hard to find free Wifi in Munich and this did not help. There was a place pretty close called the Grand Cafe on Lindwurmstabe street that had free Wifi when you bought a drink. So we were there every night!
Great location, 2 minutes from U-bahn which is just 2 stops from Marienplatz, so you can be in the heart of things within 10 minutes. The breakfasts here are great; loads of choice and decent portions.
room was nice and very clean
The staff are never there and you have to ring them if you want anything,The bad manners of the staff leaves a lot to be desired
We ordered a double room for 2 people selected by the recommended offer of the website. We choose 2 people for this travel and the room showed an icon of 2 people and also indicated "double room." However, when we arrived, the receptionist insisted that I booked a double room but for single people and I had to pay 20Euro for the second people per night. I read and showed them again my booking confirmation letter and it only says "XXX booked a double room" but nothing about the "only for single person." I couldn't prove and argue with them anything by this booking confirmation so I pay 60Euro more for the three nights. It was not very big amount for a room in Munich but we felt so so bad and were always upset when staying in this hotel. I hope no more people suffer from this again!
location in Munich, friendliness of staff and very good breakfast.
The darn door bell waking up or disturbing the first floor when it rings. Carpet in room was stained in many places and very thin and room was a bit smelly so had to open windows every day. The people talking in corridor in the night after partying. The children running and jumping in the room above on the bed and thin concrete floor.
The hostel is very near underground station. The room is spacious and clean.
I don't like the fact that whenever the staff is not at the reception, guests need to call them which is not practical because we don't have sim card and are unable to get one as we don't have address in Germany so the phone shops won't sell it to us. Hence, we couldn't contact anybody during our stay.
Great breakfast, nice staff.
At arrival, one has to call in order to get access to the hotel and check-in.
Proximity to metro station shared bathroom was clean
Standard German breakfast slow wifi
The location is excellent, very next to u-6 line, Goetheplatz station. The staff is friendly. The hotel is an excellent value for money. The rooms are very nice, clean and spacious.
Just be careful that there is not a "professional reception" of the hotel. You need to make a door bell and wait it someone responds. Also there is a small backdoor from where the receptionist is accessible. Wifi is 3.5 Euros per day for one person. But who cares, still its a great values for money.
It is difficult to say something good about this hotel.
Right across the hotel is construction site, it was difficult to drive to hotel. Upon arrival we were surprised by locked hotel door with idle ring button. We have to call to the hotel owner to resolve the situation. We were informed that in spite of we had confirmed booking, the pension was overbooked. Hotel owner had our email and phone number, but nobody tried to notify us about changes. Than we were sent to the another hotel (in crowded zone near main rail station). We have to park our car in 650 meters from the new hotel in the prohibited zone, but we have to pay for this parking like for the standard one, and the owner didn't want to provide more comfortable parking for us in this situation for the same price. These unpleasant troubles stole our only evening in Munich.
I am really unhappy to write this, but what happened is unfortunately true and extremely unpleasant. During the stay in the hotel, both me and my friends were treated in a really repugnant way and everybody, unanimously noticed that the staff had a racist attitude towards us. To mention a few: The way breakfast was served to us was different compared to the service offered to other customers. When we asked for extra bread, they just brought a small amount although we were 4 people. But really deplorable was the extremely rude way of bringing the bread! Additionally, while other customers were normally served with cheese, ham or anything else, we had to ask for them beyond expectation, as unexpected were also the delay and the careless of the service. This behavior looked really intentional, rather than due to a fortuitous forgetfulness! Nevertheless these were only marginal aspects. The cherry on the top came when we were ready to leave the hostel. They behaved like we were tricking and sneaking out of the hotel and they stingily asked us to pay a sum of money that was not the one previously agreed. I really do not care about the payment, but the service was absolutely unacceptable! I regularly travel but since now, I have never had such experience and I have never been treated in this way.
Close to underground station and Theresenwise, where New Year is celebrated
3 bed room was really spacious. Good breakfast and great location. Less than 5 minutes walk to the nearest underground station.
Only the fact that there is no free wifi in the room.
Nearness to the railway station.
The room have not been leaned for a week! Bads is creaky!
