Score from 154 reviews Excellent
The pool and sauna are nice. They have some TV stations in English.
WiFi is basically unusable. Gym is tiny with just a couple of cardio machines. Breakfast is 20 EUR and a salad in the bar in the evening is ~15 EUR - they completely rip you off because there is nothing else around, your only other choice is to go hungry.
electrical power problems - fuses blown - several outages in my room breakfast 20€ too expensive for the choices offered - staff did not replenish food in a timely manner overall impression - aged hotel - in need of renovation
Breakfast / Welcome at the reception / Walking distance to sap Germany / Free parking
Fruit at the breakfast was not fresh (cut the day before)
Excellent staff. Great spaceous rooms. Location.
1-I did not like the unannounced 0730 AM to 2PM construction project in the adjacent room on the morning of day 2 of my stay. 2-The small one person elevator. Not convenient for guests with multiple pieces of luggage assigned to rooms on the 2nd Floor. 3-No iron and ironing board in the room.
Not enough people for checkout when you know that every body leave at the same Time to go to sap offices
They service excellent steaks in the restaurant!
Wifi was working poorly (very slow). Taken into conideration that you also have to pay a high price for it, this is really not 2014. Too bad.
Wifi too expensive for such a short stay, so we were not aware of the blockage on the A5 which held us up for 2 hours before we reached Karlsruhe.
Swimming pool indoor and outdoor Refrigerator in the room. Staff is friendly
The group booked and payed for the whole weekend. Staff tell us that someone cheakout 2 dubbelrooms of our group, without consulting with the owner of the rooms. So Sunday we had no place to stay and had to prove it was not someone of us who cheakt out. And we had to get a new room. Single room in particular, Because double room was not available.
- two pools - spacious rooms - plenty of free parking - close to highway - good breakfast buffet - coffee in the lobby - free newspapers
- we arrived late in the evening and it took at least 10 minutes to find a receptionist - the welcome guide in the room said the bar would be open until 1am but at 11:30 everything was locked down. - there were half eaten snacks in our mini bar when we arrived and these were not removed during our 2 day stay - when I booked this hotel it was for a Holiday Inn. A few months later the hotel changed hands but Booking.com did not notify me. One of the reasons I chose the Holiday Inn was for the loyalty program. I was unable to collect points on this trip which was disappointing.
Staff was very helpful and friendly, they relocated our room to one closer to the entrance when they saw one of us had trouble walking. They helped with our lugage and we could keep the lugage trolley overnight. We could use the sauna and swimming pool even after check-out. The food was great, although somewhat expensive.
The pool and sauna were a bit dated.
Room aircon not effective enough
Free parking place A free upgrade to a maisonette Big room and bathroom
Price for breakfast is too high
Close to SAP Nice Staff
Need taxi to go to the town
1.Very Close to SAP HQ, daily shuttle available to SAP buildings on free of cost. Though i suggest to walk if the climate allows... 2. Very calm and peacful location and facilities
Internet sucks, it's chargeable and service qulaity is very poor in terms of speed and consistency.
Description of the room was not clearly given on the site. Room had a living room and long staircase going to Bedroom. It was completely inconvenience to have a staircase going to bedroom when I have 6 months old child in my pram. I had specified that we need arrangement of crib, that was not made. As we arrived late in hotel, reception refused to help saying that there is no person left to arrange the room. We had to manage the night without crib which is clearly unsafe for our child. Next day when we asked to change the room, they simply said the whole hotel is booked, which I find quite strange that in such big hotel, rooms are always getting freed and then occupied, They could have easily managed it. In the morning, one of the staff person came to inform that we can shift the room, they offered no help in changing the room. Crib was setup in living room and not in the bedroom. 4 people can clean the room, but they did not change toiletries, towels, glasses and cups in all three days of stay. It is clearly overpriced bad experience of the hotel I have ever got, not expected from Holiday Inn.
Plenty of parking and a very modern, clean and spacious room. Very friendly staff throughout our stay!
Beds were a little on the firm side.
old carpet, damage and not straight doors letting the light coming in...
Location close to SAP. Large room, flat TV, coffee, comfortable bed.
Small indoor pool, old fashioned. Too expensive, internet not included in the price, expensive breakfast. Location is only good for people visiting SAP.
The room and the bathroom had a good size. Very clean. Quiet area.
Far from everything.
I liked the room size and equipment
I find that the breakfast is exagerated expensive (20 euros).
Situated near the motorway half-way between Switzerland and Holland. Room spacious
Relatively expensive. Only one bag of black tea and only two milks.
The room was a well designed and efficient room for business: many plug outlets, good desk space, free parking and easy access to room. The location is a bit too far from Heidelberg for coming back late at night after dinner with lots of wine.
The charge for internet service was annoying. The restaurant attempts to be a luxury steak restaurant whereas a coffee shop would be more appropriate. The charge for breakfast was excessive.
