Hotel Heidenauer Hof    

Used for an ideal stop between two days of long distance driving.

Just a short distance down the motorway from Hamburg and an ideal stopping point from Scandinavia. Hotel rooms are set in woodland away from the main restaurant, which serves wonderful local dishes. Room size was enormous with water and juice available to purchase if needed. Friendly staff who did not mind that our german was a bit dodgy and helped us out with an english menu! Petrol station nearby with a small selection of supplies for an onward journey if needed.

We didn't get to sample a cake or pastry from the bakery opposite as we ate too much! We were on a motorcycle so hard standing parking would have been a help - it was mostly gravel or grass.

peaceful, secluded location, yet very accessible, even with public transprot in the day. WiFi, breakfast, garden.

The small-town location, plus the lay-out of the hotel causes me to return for further stays. This was my third stay in the past year, and I will return in the future when in the area.

The restaurant and main building a fair walk away from bedrooms. OK in nice weather, but if it rains could be a problem.

Excellent value for money. Large and clean rooms. Lovely and quiet surroundings. Garden view from room. Friendly and personal service. Close to autobahn just south of Hamburg, ideal for stay-over on long trip to Europe.

Lovely big clean room in beautiful setting. Near to the autobahn as we used it for an overnight stay during our travels. The breakfast buffet was great, so much to choose from.

This was my second stay at the hotel in the past year. Prior to my first stay I was seeeking accommodations in the area because of a business appointment I had. Now, planning another visit with the same firm, I made another reservation with the hotel, and looked forward to my stay. All I anticipated for the stay was realized. The room was delightful, the dining options were delicious, and the frühstücks buffet provided a wonderful selection. I plan to stay with the Hotel Heidenauer Hof during my next visit to the area in several months.

Heel goede tussenstop op weg naar Denemarken. Heel rustig, alhoewel maar 3 km van autosnelweg. Gratis Wifi.

Nettes Hotel mit guter Gaststätte. Im Bereich der Landgasthöfe sicherlich empfehlungswert.

Dejligt hotel i en lille by. Dejligt undervejshotel - let at komme af og til motorvejen. God og venlig service, ølstue, god restaurant og "tyskerstemning". Pæne og rene værelser.

Ich war überrascht für den günstigen Preis ein so gut eingerichtetes Zimmer und ein sehr gutes Frühstück zu bekommen. Der Ausblick auf den Eichenwald direkt hinterm Haus war morgens toll. Was in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt wird, aber vorhanden ist, ist ein kostenloses W-Lan, für mich als Geschäftskunde sehr wichtig.

Ligger roligt, tæt på motorvejen. Venligt personale, udmærket og billigt aftensmåltid.

Das Essen und der Service ist eher mäßig.
