The hotel is a family-run hotel with all the advantages: care, attention, and reliability. It is clean and the neigborhood is suburban, silent. It is close to the Grosshadern University block, and also close to sport facilities. The rooms and the corridor doors cannot be silently shut or opened.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Heigl. The room was cozy and beautiful. The selections at breakfast was great. It was great having the use of free internet service. The bus stops right out front and was really easy to get to where we wanted to go. The staff was absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend anyone to stay there. Thank You so much to the staff of the Heigl for making our stay as pleasant as it was. Janice and Darren R.

Everything was very good! Nice, clean and comfortable hotel, good breakfast, friendly staff, free parking. You can reach the city center with s7 train, Solln station is about 1km from the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet and nice district.

Staff is kind and helpful, rather good public transport connections (bus stop to Theresienwiese 100m form hotel; railway stop to hbf and center town 1200m), very very quiet neighborhood, good bathroom, safe in room. I was put in an under-roof room - it was small and very hot even in the night, with no air conditioning, and there was a roof window that could not be blinded. It was difficult to sleep. All in all, my room was unconfortable, but I guess not all rooms are like that. Getting to center town takes about 30min by public transport.

The room was clean and cute, the hotel itself was quaint and cosy. The location was a bit far from the centre, not good if you stay out past when the buses run although you can walk from the train. Lovely neighbourhood, amazing food just around the corner at the schnitzenlust place. It is more expensive than we would've liked. Additionally, When we arrived we were pleased to hear that the breakfast we hadn't booked could easily be arranged for 5 euro provided we let staff know each night whether we wanted it the next day. However when we checked out we were told the quoted price was the old price and instead it was 7 euro (a proce we probably wouldnt have been tempted by) and that we had to pay even for days we dIdnt eat breakfast. Staff were abrupt in this instance tho pleasant otherwise. The food itself was varied and tasty.

It was in a really quiet location and although it was a fair way out of town, it was nice to experience a quiet village of Munich during a very busy tourist period. We stayed during Oktoberfest so it was impossible to get accomodation in the city as we booked too late, but it turned out we could get the bus outside the hotel directly to Oktoberfest which took 30-45 mins. Alternatively we could get the bus to the station to get a train to the city. Even though it was a bit far it was very convienent, the hotel was clean and the hosts were very accommodating.

Nice staff, beautiful hotel exterior, quiet, safe neighborhood. My room was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, small single room is no exaggeration.

This has to be the friendliest hotel I have ever stayed at. We were always greeted by a smile and a kind word. We arrived early, and not only did the hotel keep our bags for us, when came back to check in, the baggage was already in our room. It is little things like this that really make the service of this hotel stand out.

Clean and comfortable triple room, made up of two rooms, one with a double bed and another with a single one. Good breakfast, free WiFi with good signal coverage. Hotel private garage is not so cheap, 10 EUR per night. It's possible to park for free outside, but the places are few and we couldn't find any.

Hotel staff were very kind, hotel located in very quite area. Hotel room was very good and clean. The hotel location is very far from city center, it needs a bus to go to the subway station, then you have to wait for the s7 subway train to go to the city center or any other destination. All this will take at least 30minutes to 1 hour to reach the city center.
