Previous reviews mentioned a small restaurant nearby, but unfortunately this had been closed since the pandemic. However, the extremely service-minded hotel manager offered to drive us to the nearby village and set us up with a table reservation at a good restaurant and a phone number to a local taxi service for the trip back. Do I have to mention that this by far exceeded our expectations?

Breakfast at the nearby family restaurant is abundant, and one can also have a good, real German style lunch or dinner there (warning! the portions are huge!) with very friendly young staff speaking good English. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful but also giving good privacy. Bed was large and comfortable, linen/covers high quality.

The window view is charming, with fields and trees, and everything is green. There is all the information in a book in the room, where to eat, where to find things, etc. This is very well thought. The breakfast is quite good, sandwiches, mueslis and confitures, and you can ask for eggs if you want.

When you enter the hotel it’s like a Disney fairytale. Beautiful property in a village. Great place to take a rest. Delicious food, perfect spa to take out the stress and enjoy the silence.
