Location right next to u2 subway line. Very convenient for public transportation. Easy walking distance from many nice shops and restaurants. Very friendly staff. Fitness center well equipped across the street. Free beer and bottled water in room was nice, as well as coffee maker.

The room was too warm. There is no air conditioning in the rooms and the only way to cool the room off was to open the windows. I had the heater all the way off in the room. Also, the blanket on the bed was too warm. There should be a sheet and a separate blanket so that you can have more comfort in the bed. With the warm room and warm covers, you were either sweating or a little chilly if you slept on top of the covers!

Everything about the hotel including the quality of its rooms, its location, comfort and cleanliness was almost perfect. It is in front of the metro station and 5-10 minutes by walk to the Museum Island.Great for this price level.

Great facilities, including self-service laundry. The location is very central without being noisy and is only 5-10 minutes away from many of the attractions, and is literally opposite a metro station. The staff were friendly and the restaurant attached was good too.

Very nice staff. No problem with English. U- bahn 25 m away. 5- 10 min. walk to Alexander platz. I highly recommend this hotel! Very cheap. Free beer and "sprudel wasser" in the fridge when you arrive... Perfect "see the city in a weekend" hotel!

If you are looking for luxury and spa- weekends this isn't the hotel for you.

The style of the hotel is Royal. The hardware and the service are excellent.

It is too close to the main street. It is noisy in the night.

Very friendly staff

It's in the very city centre and you can easily reach whatever you want to see. Plus, the metro station is just in front of the hotel!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, giving directions and advice on where to visit. They spoke perfect English and were always smiling. The hotel and the room itself was very clean and tidy. I had a superior double room overlooking the Spree, it was very spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel was just across the road from Markische Museum underground this was very handy. The free water and beer were a great touch and was something you don't see in other hotels. I thought the price of E131 for 2 nights in this fabulous room was fantastic, i don't know whether the time of year had anything to do with the low price but it was well worth it. If returning to Berlin i would book this hotel again.

The only thing I did not like about the hotel was that on my last morning housekeeping arrived to clean the room at 9am. Then continued to come back every half hour. This was a little annoying.

The staff were amazing (especially a lady called Sabine) including the cleaners!! The comfort of the room was excellent too (infact, I think I spent a great deal of time in the bedroom for someone who is on holiday!). Centrally located, public transport directly opposite the hotel. I honestly do not have anything but praises for this hotel. I am already planning my next trip to Berlin and I know where I would be staying!

Location was excellent,price was very good, and the staff at the hotel were extremely efficient,polite,friendly and helpful, when required. The common areas at front of hotel lacked conviviality, and character, and braekfast was rather expensive,but overall I was very pleased with the choice of hotel, and would definately reccommend it to any friends visiting Berlin for a stay.

Good sized clean rooms. Location excellent - train station just over the road. Staff helpful. I would use this hotel again with no hesitation.

The Derag was awesome. The location was across from the metro stop that could easily get you to the center of town, and the accomodations were outstanding. We were upgraded to a suite, which was great, and the staff was very friend. I would highly recommend it!

Since I already visited the hotel once before with my husband, it wasn't hard for me to pick this hotel again for my business trip. It has a good price, clean rooms, friendly staff and it is very close to the public transportation system.
