The Hotel is in a peaceful & picturesque surroundings, the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The restaurant & reception staff were excellent along with the food. The golf club is minutes away & was very welcoming.

There is no bar menu or room service consquently if you want a meal it has to be formal & expensive. There was no discount for the Golf course next door which was again expensive for the standard of the course.

We booked the hotel to spend a week relaxing. We were able to do this in the wellness centre which on the whole was of a good standard, although there are some things that could seriously be improved. see below. Male desk staff were generally very helpful. Females not so helpful and not many spoke any English. Room cleaners very polite and rooms cleaned very well.

Spa - Not enough seating. Spa pool goes off every 90 seconds and could be hotter - closer to 40 degrees would be better. Steam room was defective. Sauna was not available during the day. If these things were improved upon then the wellness centre would be very good indeed! Room service should be available with basic snacks and food. We liked the hotel but the wellness centre could be improved to make relaxation breaks that much better.

kein Kinderpreis für Frühstückbuffet- recht teuer mit 16 Euro für ein 10J. Kind. Brötchen waren pappig, sonst ok

Die Lage des Hotels und das Ambiente sind traumhaft schön. Das Freizeitangebot vom hauseigenen Golfplatz, über die Tennisplätze bis hin zum vielseitigen Wellnessbereich lassen kaum Wünsche offen.

Die Mitarbeiter in der Gastronomie könnten leger gekleideten Gästen gegenüber ein wenig offener sein. Es wurde einem vom Personal der Gastronomie als Underdressed gekleideter Gast, das Gefühl vermittelt fehl am Platze zu sein. Alle anderen Angestellten waren stets freundlich und ließen sich nicht durch das äußere Erscheinungsbild verunsichern.

Die ruhige Lage direkt neben der Elbe und der Gesamteindruck des historischen Hotels.
