Staying in Hillepranft is like being a guest of the family that runs it. It's not a usual hotel, it's more like a real house in the mountains - very cozy, clean, charming and full of life. Besides, its rooms offer a breathtaking view to the Zugspitze mountain. Breakfasts are nice and tasty. And the hosts are very nice people. And they have a geat dog!

Hotel Hilleprandt offered a very friendly and supportive environment from which we could pursue our sports interests in Garmisch. The location near the center of town provided us the ability to get to where we wanted to go easily. The staff helped answer our questions about where to best ski and hike during our visit at the end of the winter season.

I normally prefer inns and hotels that are away from the center of towns, but this one was so quiet and peaceful that it didn't bother me.

The room was very comfortable and the location was great for access to the skiing area, only a short walk to the bus or train stop.

The lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room was a real downer after a day skiing (The coffee machine downstairs was only 'free' with breakfast). Also, a bottle of sparkling water was added to the fridge everyday but there was no mention of being charged for this...small thing but slightly annoying when presented with the bill.

I like the gently staff especially the dog in the reception area.

Good location, friendly staff, guiet and clean hotel. Only few comments: I've booked a double room but called and ask for the Alps view balcony - we came and received a suite with lagre balcony for the same price; It was snowy all night - we found all parked cars cleaned from snow in the morning.

Location was very close to the train station. Easy walking distance to the center of town too. Very accommodating.

Loved the quaint decor and friendliness of the owners and staff. The location was very close to downtown Garmish but without the traffic. Breakfast was adequate -- really enjoyed the automatic cappucino machine with scenic pictures! We'll be back in January!

The friendly hotel staff, outstanding breakfast, location and the price was very reasonable. The rooms were impeccably clean. There was no downside to this hotel. I would definitely go back.

This was likely our most pleasant stay on our 3 weeks through Europe. The owner, Klaus (I think was his name), was sweet, gracious and accommodating from the beginning. We checked in on a Sunday evening when, just as we feared, all of the stores would be closed. My husband needed a AAA battery for a small medical device and Klaus very happily ran in the back with no prompting and came out with a proud smile in his face and a AAA battery. Our room was absolutely lovely. We had a wrap around porch that looked on to the mountains. Everything was clean and tidy throughout the hotel. Breakfast was great with many fresh options! The location to the main pedestrian/shopping street was superb (just a few blocks away) and to the Partnach Gorge was perfect (about a 20 minute walk on paths through farmland to the entrance). Klaus was always available for suggestions on food and hiking/activities. Upon our departure we had a small mechanical problem with one of our motorcycles and they were very accommodating with letting us use a computer, offering to call a friend to help or just offering me a warm drink and a comfy couch while I waited. We will definitely stay here again. Loved it!

Perfect. Every other word is just not sufficient to say how the accomodation service and hospitality good is. Reccomendations to everyone. I personally will go again.

Walking directions from station are Confusing and misleading!!!

We really enjoyed the friendly owners. We were given a room on the main floor and didn't have to climb steps which was very important to us. We had a lovely patio to sit out and enjoy the view. We were given a bus pass to use which made it easy to get around. The breakfasts were very good also. We would love to go back and spend more time in Garmisch and at the Hilleprandt.

There is not enough positive I can say about this place. We enjoyed our stay here more than any other place in our 2 week Europe trip, so much so that we were sad to leave. Christiane was wonderful and always had great suggestions of things for us to do, even when it was raining. We will be back in the future for another stay.

The Hilleprandt was and excellent friendly little hotel. Large room, outside area for relaxing, and really friendly staff and dog. I highly recommend!

The location was perfect. Walking distance from the railway station as well as close to the town. Christianne and her father Klaus were the perfect hosts, suggesting interesting things to do and always had a friendly word. Our comfortable room was on the second floor with amazing views of the mountains from our balcony.

There is no lift. However, we had help taking our suitcases up to the second floor

They respect a privacy and belives .. As they provide something not availble because they think I may like it .. Thanks for them
