This was our 2nd stay and like the 1st it was outstanding. Highly recommended.
Christiane Hilleprandt was very pleasant with us. We arrived without luggage, and she quickly provided us with toothbrushes and paste. When the luggage arrived it was delivered upstairs to our room. We asked for an early breakfast on two mornings, and Christiane had it ready each time. We wanted arrangements for a facial and manicure and it was quickly coordinated. Convenient to main train station and Zugspitz station.
Everything and the mountains. Absolutely wonderful little hotel. Made our stay in Garmisch-Partenkirchen perfect.
Nothing to say here
Room was very comfortable. Bathroom and Sauna were excellent. Breakfast was delicious.
Excellent room and bathroom, excellent dining room and breakfast
Stairway and for unknown reason not very friendly owner.
Good breakfast, comfortable room, friendly staff, 2 blocks from walking/biking path, 2 blocks from pedestrian city center
European pillows, foggy fall weather
I was surprised that I had to pay 6euro for each day of breakfast for my three- year old son. It was stated in my booking confirmation that the breakfast was included in the room rates. If I had known that, I would have booked another hotel.
Very helpful hostess and host. Our motorbike broke down our hosts couldn't have been more helpful. They tracked down the required bit to sort the bike and arranged for a hire car for us to collect said bit. Lovely breakfast selection. Hotel very central for town and lifts.
Very friendly, clean, great breakfast. Quite street about 5 min away walk from the town center. Super value for the money.
location, friendliness, good breakfast, free wifi, rooms very comfortable
Friendly and welcoming hostess Excellent location Quiet and peaceful situation Our room had an uninterrupted view of the Zugspitze and an excellent balcony on two sides Everything was very clean Excellent breakfasts with good variety from day to day Ample supply of free coffee in afternoons
Very cute hotel in a peaceful residential spot. The panorama terrace and balcony had spectacular views. Breakfast was quite good, with an eye for quality rather than variety. Soft boiled eggs were done to perfection!
Easy walk into shops restaurant We used the hotel courtesy bikes & had a great day out sightseeing.
Free wifi and providing an early breakfast on request
Great location, fantastic views.
The pillows in the beds - they are too soft and don't provide any support. We had this problem in a few different places in Bavaria. No spare pillows provided. The breakfast wasn't up to much.
Well-appointed room with good view of the Zugspitze. The continental breakfast offered a very good selection to choose from. Although we were not often back before 18:00 the provision of a machine in the breakfast room offering complimentary hot drinks up until that time was a thoughtful and much appreciated touch. Would certainly stay here again in the future which is highly probable as there was far more to do in Garmisch-Partenkirchen than a week allowed.
The owners were so kind and helpful. They stayed up late to greet us on our arrival. They recommended amazing restaurants. And when I was ill, they made calls to get a doctor to see my first thing in the morning. Would highly recommend.
Helpful family run hotel, small but suited what my partner and I wanted perfectly, great location for the train station and the town too! Would happily stay there again!
Hotel location. Cleanliness of the room.
First of all, I don't understand way Hilleprandt is *** hotel. This is overpriced Bed&Breakfast accommodation. Room is very small with old furniture. We were very lucky to have balcony. Bathroom needs updating because the floor was always wet regardless of precaution taken during shower. Breakfast was very average and if we came after 9:00AM almost nothing was refilled. Last but not least is HONESTY of owners of the Hilleprandt. After we came home in US I received email from them with accusation that I damaged another car while driving out of the parking space after checkout. This email stated (quote) "We are sure that you have noticed that too, nevertheless you drove away". This is 100% untruth. When I return Mercedes to rental company in Frankfurt airport the rental office have scrutinize inspected the car and gave me the receipt that (quote) "your total due: $0.00)" Could somebody imagine that the rental company have accepted the car without penalize me for even small scratch? Please be careful with this kind of "hospitality" of the Hilleprandt's owners. My score for this hotel is 2.5.
We were there in the summer and it was in easy walking distance of the rail station, swimming pools, and shopping district. Very quiet, comfortable room with sparkling bathroom. Large shower with lots of hot water. Great views from small balcony and nice back yard with tables and loungers.
No elevator, but that was expected.
Helpful staff, free tea and coffee during the day, excellent breakfast - in the garden if you like!
Location was perfect for nearby attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Comfortable airy room, in spite of heatwave, modern bathroom, excellent breakfast, friendly owner/managers. Convenient to ice stadium for concerts (although a little far to walk to town center for older folk)
Good location. Tickets for local public transport.
Scarce breakfast without hot dishes (no sausages or eggs). No teapot in the room, public tea/coffee machine is available only till 6 p.m., so you have no chance to drink something warm in the evening. Old furniture.
This hotel was clean as a whistle. Everything was in excellent repair. Our room was huge and had a incredible view of the Alps. We were just 5 minutes from the train station and the Zugspitze office. The hotel had a nice garden with outstanding views. The breakfast was excellent.
