the staff, they were supportive. location was great as well
no food in the evening, but tons of restaurants around
-location was very central to many things -lots of street parking if you have a car. You can pay for garage parking but street is safe and there is lots -bed&breakfast/rustic look and feel about the hotel and rooms -hotel room is clean, space to move around -clean linens -breakfast included: breakfast was nothing special, typical German breakfast (bad fruit, some yogurt, toast&jelly, boiled eggs, meats and a cheese) -retail shops and restaurants within walking distance -old city is a 40min walk probably but the main shopping is about 20minutes from hotel
-internet was horrible in the rooms, my boyfriend had to go out to the lobby and sit to use it. Very quick internet though out in the lobby.
The location was nice, a 10 minute walk took us to the old town center, with beautiful views and lovely restaurants. The hotel was clean, affordable and the breakfast was ok. The hotel is baby friendly.
The rooms were small, but not bad.
1. Staff doesn't speak English and not even try although it was declared in hotel description. 2. There is no cable Internet access althought it was declared in hotel description. 3. Wifi works near reception desk but doesn't work in rooms at all. 4. Hotel description says that checking time is starting from 10 am, but in fact you can checkin only is there is no guests in your room. 5. Breakfast was really poor and tasteless
Very clean ; good location in city ; excellent breakfast with many choices ; helpful staff ; excellent value ; - and with a traditional feel to it.
Bedroom a little on the small side. Shower but no bath.
It's a small family hotel that is comfortable, friendly, recently decorated and convenient for the centre of Dusseldorf. It's somewhere to sleep near the station and town centre. Would visit again.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in the annex in a charming little apartment overlooking a cosy garden. Good value for Money. I am pleased to recommend this place. Alice Christensen, Denmark
Beds, hygiene, service, location
Eggs at breakfast you have to boil yourself, two times two fails. Lady behind the counter when we arrived in the evening had a heavy accent and didn't seem to understand English that well.
The night porter was very friendly and very helpful.
The breakfast could be slightly better.
+ good breakfast + possibility of parking in garage + clean rooms + friendly staff
The staff in this hotel are very kind and friendly. Also, I like the breakfast here. Excellent service overall.
The hotel is tastefully decorated in the old stile. Everything is clean and comfortable for use. Staff is very helpful and pleasant. The location is close to the city center - very practical. Natalie, Brussels
Selection of bakery products for breakfast was quite limited. Could be improved.
Plastic mattress Hair on the bed sheets and over the toilet tiles Spots over the blanket, the bed sheets and again over the toilet tiles Old and ripped off bed sheets Bad smell in the room Dusty awning

The location, the stuff and the breakfast were excellent
The room can be seen from outside and the curtains permit the light of the sun easily every morning
Carl and Monika gave us a warm welcome. On the first floor comfortable bed, shower powerful clean, TV, hair dyer .Breakfast was healthy different meats and beautiful German rolls out every morning the hotel is in easy walking area of old town. Medienhafen and shopping areas Kongisalle where all the designer shops are or you can take a tram ticket can be bought at hotel.around the corner there are chemist, bakery lidal pub & restuarants in the same street there are Gay friendly bar .Rosie restaurant
poor WII connection. Not allowed to bring own water into the room as there was a 2euro fine if the empty bottle was found it didn't happen to us as we obeyed there is a complimentary sparkling water very small bottles. tap water was ok to drink I had no sore stomach with it, In the summer you may find the room a bit stuffy no fans or air con, fine for the Autumn and winter can open the windows but will hear nightclub coming out its around the corner.
Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location. Very clean and functional. Good breakfast.
Very little to dislike about the hotel. There is no elevator but this is not a significant issue.
