The location - it is right next to the English Garden - you can walk through this park to the center of the city (ca. 30 min)

This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I had so far. The hotel is under renovation, so you will hear drilling and hammering all the time! The most disturbing part was however that the hotel's stuff was not helpful at all – their only excuse was that they point out at their homepage that they are under renovation! This hotel definitely does not deserve the Hilton label. Moreover, the rooms were not well cleaned, it was very dusty, which probably also comes from the renovation. The hotel’s location is very nice but the hotel stuff was not helpful in explaining how to get to the center of the city! Moreover, it takes over 30 min by foot or 20-30 min with public transportation (bus and u-bahn) to get to the center of the city. There was no room for smokers. I understand that there is a Bavarian law on this but the hotel could have arranged an extra room only for smokers. The spa area was very poor – if you have more than two guests, there is not much space left. Regarding the size of the hotel, the size of the spa area is really inappropriate. Be careful you have to pay high fees for parking and for the internet! To sum up, if I ever go to Munich I will definitely pick another hotel!

My partner and I booked this hotel for Oktoberfest weekend. We stayed at for 4 nights in which the bedsheets were only changed once. We had to ask for toiletries from reception as they had failed to replace soap that had run out. From a hotel chain such as the Hilton we had expected more for what we paid, which was an extraordinary amount. On top of all this we had a pair of brand new Gucci sunglasses which cost $400 stolen from our hotel room, the sunglasses were left on the dressing table on our arrival and were not there when we returned to our hotel room. When this was reported to hotel staff, the staff dismissed our report, and showed no compassion, the report was handled poorly by staff.

Location, facilities, reputation, friendly staff

Regardless of my smoking preference smoking rooms were not available because of ongoing renovation works in the hotel.

Great facilities - gym, spa, business centre. Good room size and comfortable. Fabulous breakfast. Location was good despite not being in city centre - close to beautiful English Garden and excellent public transport links on doorstep. Reception staff were very helpful and generally friendly staff.

Overall enjoyed my stay but renovations were being carried out and there was noise outside the stated work times on more than one occasion- this was very inconvenient on sunday morning when work started at 8.30am. I didn't find the wait staff at breakfast very attentive - eg I had to ask coffee every time and on more than one occasion other guests were served coffee first me even though I requested it before them.

Its location is far from U-bahn (metro station)

The staff were very helpful; especially the concierge. I had mentioned before we arrived that I was celebrating my 50th, and there was a very nice cake in my room (I think Lars organised this)! I would stay there again, and I would recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

I needed more time off work to stay longer =;-)

Very good hotel. the room is clean, the restraunt is good.
