The hotel is located near Fuessen train station. Its decoration and beer garden are very beautiful. Function areas in room are designed well. Breakfast is also good. The most recommended is the discount card offered to hotel guests, with which we got 20% off for Neuschwanstein tickets.

Ideal location. We were given an upgrade to a theme room and it was lovely! We went to Fussen to Paraglide at Tegelberg and it was extremely easy to get from the hotel up to the TegelbergBahn. It was very close to the train station and right across from the old city. Great food in the restaurant. We would highly recommend!!

Hotel Hirsch was absolutely wonderful! I can't say enough about it! The staff was very helpful, the location was excellent, and the room was beautiful! The included breakfast was delicious as well. It was a great value for the price as well.

Sept 1, 2011 is the 2nd time I stayed there, last time was 9 yrs ago. Just as much fun or more than the 1st time. The staff was very friendly, in fact the owner and locals were enjoyable to spend time with in the biergarten until late in the evening. I feel like I made some new friends.

The hotel itself is a showcase, with all the decorative items at the corridor the hotel is like an exhibition hall. They can pre-book the castle ticket for you and that save a lot of time, even though you can only book for the next day. No laundry service. But they said their washing machine is arriving.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were going to check in late, and the staff contacted us to ensure someone would be there when we arrived or to make arrangements for us if they would not be there. The hotel was extremely convenient to shopping and restaurants and tourist locations like Neuschwanstein Castle.

This is a fabulous hotel! Very quaint and charming. Hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and spoke great English. Perfect location to the castles and town shopping. We are already looking to book another trip at this hotel in the fall.

This hotel was perfectly placed in the centre of Fussen. The staff were extremely helpful, the bedroom was very comfortable and the breakfasts excellent. We ate in the hotel one night and that too was really good. I would certainly recommend the hotel to my friends.

Very good hotel in great location with easy-to-access parking. Room was comfortable, with a large and comfortable bathtub. Great hotel for exploring Fussen and the nearby castles. My only complaint is one that I commonly have about European hotels- no coffee pot in the room

We have stayed at many hotels throughout Europe and the Hotel Hirsch now rates as our number 1. A straight walk from the railway station, easy check in and English spoken, elegant decore, good advice on sightseeing, comfortable, warm theemed rooms, lovely restaurant with plenty of room. It was a nice touch to see the girls in traditional dress. We even purchased two of their umbrellas to take with us as we knew we were heading into rain. If ours was the standard double the luxury room must be exquisite. 1 pillow was to small and 2 pillows to much. I know, trivial isn't it. It would be nice to supply a sheet for the bedding as both couples may not require the Donna.

It was in a good location close to castles, the rooms were sweet and the breakfast was good. No tea and coffee facilities in the room then when we went to get one from the restaurant we had to pay separately for it! Rooms need blinds or blockout curtains as so much light comes in!

We stayed with our 3 small children (6.4. and 1) in a quad room. We brought our own bed for the baby, but the beds for the other kids were great. Our room was spacious and comfortable for all of us to be in. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help us on more than one occasion. The hotel is a great location for the scenic pedestiran main street. I would definetly go back.
