The staff is really friendly and nice! They gave us a map and some advices where we can go We took a breakfast, for 10€ it's really good, so many types of cheese, tea, coffee, musli, eggs, ham, honey, jam, bread and cakes Then we came back for lunch after our walking the lunch was also nice, trout in wine and soup were really delicious and not expensive

The staff is extremely friendly. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is also a movie room for adults and a play room for kids to use. Nothing.

Surprisingly nice place to stay with children: family room for 4, children's playroom, good food, forest all around. We stayed here for one night as a stop-over traveling from Italy to the Netherlands, but we consider to return to this place another time and stay a little while longer. It is a longer driving distance from the Autobahn than expected, but worth it.

Food was excellent. Very picturesque setting in the black forest. Owners are very helpfull and have a masive collection of cofee grinders! A car is really important, the hotel is only reachable by taxi and that can get quite expensive.

We enjoyed staying in Höhengasthaus Kolmenhof which is a very pleasant rural place. We were impressed by the personal warm attention, the wonderful location and we will recommend everyone on it.

The (very) rural location There were no staff on duty on Wednesday afternoon. We knew there was no restaurant or reception but no staff at all ? Even the front door was locked which I think is a fire hazard as ther appeared to be no other escape route from that floor. Although the owners (and other staff) were very friendly and sincere, I'm afraid I found the overall atmosphere a bit spartan and penny-pinching. Certainly not luxurious. Perhaps this is what walkers want and we made the wrong booking.It was fine for a couple of nights.

Everything! The proprietors were exceptionally friendly & helpful. Very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Beautify location in the heart of the Black Forest. Source of the Danube is right on the property! One of only a few accommodations with family rooms for 4. Excellent breakfast!

We loved the quiet! Yes you are far from most of the touristy sites of Triberg but that is what we wanted. We traveled with my parents and 2 sons. My sons loved it because they had a little playground and lots of woods to hike in. My parents liked it because the quiet. We would definitely would stay here again.

We were made very welcome at the hotel and separate family run restaurant. We were given information on sites we should visit as well as showing us the actual start of the Danube river. It was a nice place to stay in the Black Forest. GPS coordinates provided on the website placed us at the hotel's door.

What a wonderful place, a great spot to avoid the hustle and bustle of life. Three generations of family operate this and the atmosphere is very much family and love to serve their clients. We totally enjoyed the stay, and well the food is great as well. Thank you for letting us stay with you.

The staff and owners were extremely accommodating and friendly. The location is very beautiful and would provide a great place for walking/hiking in good weather. The rooms were clean, comfortable and overall very nice. The restaurant is very good. Almost everything was top notch. The rooms could use blackout curtains. The breakfast is standard for Germany but at 10 EUR it is too expensive.

sehr engagierte und freundliche Mitarbeiter, die uns eine Unterkunft im Nachbargasthof vermittelten. Dort einfache Unterkunft mit super Frühstücksbuffet und sehr guter Gästebetreuung. Im Kolmenhof eine hervorragende Küche und romanisch vorbereitete Sauna. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen!

Het hotelletje is heel mooi gelegen,propere en ruime kamers,lekker eten ,personeel heel vriendelijk en de eigenaars geven je goede tips over de bezienswaardigheden van de regio .Echt een aanrader voor mensen die rust en stilte willen!!

Cette hotel est vraiment fantastique. Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hotel et tout est vraiment extra: la chambre familiale très confortable et une belle salle de bains , le tout rénové recemment; le restaurant dont les plats sont cuisinés par le patron , je vous recommande les truites; le petit déjeuner très complet et surtout la gentilesse de l'ensemble du personnel et des patrons. Ne pas oublier de demander ldès votre arrivée la carte tourisme forêt noire pour avoir des réductions sur les visites alentours. Rien

Très bon accueil en Français. Salle de jeux pour enfants, chambre pour 4 confortable, petit-déjeuner et repas de qualité. Personnel et propriétaires très aimables. L'hôtel est situé au calme avec possibilités de promenades (pieds ou ski de fond) sans prendre la voiture.

Wir haben einen Kurzurlaub zum Skaten und Schneeschuhwandern verbracht und waren begeistert von den bestens präparierten Loipen, die direkt am Hotel vorbeiführen. Die Familie Dold und ihr Team hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und betreut. Am Kolmenhof hat uns besonders die sehr ruhige Lage des Hotels, die sehr gute Küche und unser schön eingerichtetes, gemütliches Zimmer gefallen.

Tutto. Hotel tipico della foresta nera, proprietari gentilissimi che hanno fatto di tutto per mitigare l'inclemenza del tempo, camere arredate con gusto, colazione ottima e ristorante all'altezza. Bravi Il collegamento WiFi non funzionava. Il segnale nella struttura va sicuramente potenziato. Hanno comunque avvisato che il loro collegamento è via satellite e perciò particolarmente lento ed a causa dell'abbondante nevicata la parabola aveva difficoltà a connettersi con il satellite.
