It is just across the main train station. The city center is a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast was a very good buffet. The staff is very professional and helpfull. The price I got 4 months in advance of my staying was incredibly low. |

Room was comfortable and breakfast excellent; staff were very professional and polite The noise from the trams! and the 9 euros a day parking - this was in the information but it still semed a bit steep, given the price of the room. |

I was able to visit places where Bach and Mendelssohn lived and worked. Good shopping centre. Very close to the tramlines. |

Location is very convenient to city center and Central Station nearby provides many choices for breakfast and connections. Rooms extremely small for 2. Constant noise from trams outside. Outdated furnishings in the rooms. |

There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room which is unusual in Germany. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The proximity to the station was also very good. The bed in the room was extremely uncomfortable and we both had a very bad night's sleep! |

we liked the friendly welcome, the big enough and clean rooms, the very central place of the hotel (all we wanted to see we did without car). there was even a sauna, it ws a pity that we did not stay long enough to enjoy also this posibility after sightseeing. |

The hotel is ideally situated next to the station and for public transport. We were arriviving close to midnight after flying with Ryanair to Altenburg so wanted a hotel close to the bus drop off point on the East side of the station. The staff were very attentive, the hotel has a friendly atmosphere.The breakfasts offered a great deal of choice and good quality food. As it is a city hotel there are no grounds or gardens but on a city break we could live with that.The air conditioning was rather noisy so we switched it off and opened the window slightly. There was some noise from the street, particularly trams in the early morning. Again we could live with this. |

the location of the hotel is its plus point. its right in the city centre . very convenient to go anywhere in the city. the rooms of the hotel are too small as for what they charge. you get better and bigger rooms for the same price at the other hotels |

Efficient friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent location opposite the Hauptbahnhof, goth friendly, cheap minibar (compared to Dublin pubs!) No kettle or coffee - I would gladly have swapped the minibar for a good cuppa in the morning. Value for moneywise just about exceptable thanks to handy location, but poor deal for lone traveller. |

Beds are ok. Bathroom als ok. Staff very nice, helpfull and friendly. The airconditioning machine didn't work. During our stay it was never fixed. Our room was very warm. Noise from outside because of the trams and traffic. Room was a bit small. |
