when we checked in to the hotel and get the room we get executive room and not entrance to the restaurant part where guest who have executive room get entrance..so when we go int to that part of restaurant the restaurant employees wanted to see our room key.. and they said to us we are not allowed to eat in that part of restaurant even if we have executive room..it was embarrassing when other guest turned around and looked on us while we go out from that executive side. This could personel inform us already when we checked in..same thing happened with other guest .
Location - too far out of town
Great Service from all the staff, great food, very comfortable beds.
A bit high in price.
Location out side the city
1-Customer service is so poor 2-Breakfast is not organized at all in terms of disrespect the guest by questioning him whether he is in the hotel or not in front of everyone they should have quest check list instate of the disrespect In front of every one on daily basis even when I complain to the manager nothing happens . 3- wifi is poor in there u had to wait for one email send like 10 mins . 4- I usually don't review a hotels but this is one I had because it was such 5 painful days for me .
large room with a wonderful view over the city tea and coffe facilities in room free mini bar and wi-fi large seperate bathroom with bath easy bus ride into the centre-best to buy day pass for bus and trains small pool and leisure area but big enough!
lighting in room was very poor for the size of the room. very difficult to read in bed!
Comfortable room, quality beds.
Pool, fast check in, kind staff
Carpets in the rum, that's I think uhygienic in hotel room. I prefer parquet.
Firstly, our rooms were not as we had booked nor were they next to each other as requested. We are travelling with two children and had booked one double room and one twin room. We were given two twin rooms that were originally on two different floors. They did change us to the same floor after we found this out. The internet wasn't accessible the night we arrived and a phone call to reception was not answered. The rooms were outdated and overpriced. No fridge or tea making facilities. We were asked if everything was ok when we checked out but as soon as we started to say about the internet problem, the receptionist started talking to another staff member. We asked her if she was listening which got her attention bug her response was just "oh". She also didn't understand when we explained our rooms were not as booked. Won't stay in a Holiday Inn again. We had a problem with them in Amsterdam as well.
Comfortable bed, good breakfast
If you are one of these poor customers with a standard, you are given a room in the city wing. That means: long walking distances, lifts are at the far end of the corridor! They feature a "two Hotels in one building" system, offering different breakfast rooms for different guests - but people aren't ware of this. So they get lost and once in the right location, they are verified again by the staff. Not really relaxing. There are two levels in the underground parking but the lift only goes to level -1 - strange! Btw, it's 15 Euros per day! The bathroom is very narrow, with a small shower cabin with a sticky curtain so short that you will water the whole floor. Window and door key-locked
The room was big. Exellent Breakfast, good bed and pillows, cute rug offered to my dog:)
The personnel knocking on the door (twice) before i checked out (prob. for cleaning/ filling the mini bar).I travelled with a dog si it was disturbed and started to bark.
Great sauna Nice accommodation
Slightly far out of town needing taxi or public transport to get to town, Not difficult, but to far to walk
Quiet Area. Big Rooms. Excellent View. Responsive Staff.
Weird Clothing Cabinet!! with fixed hungers and not able to hang your cloths with any hangers even the one came from Hotel laundry itself!! Change it please. Bad smell in the elevators: (Good idea to install Automatic perfume spray). Breakfast laking variety of food. Add more. Expensive Parking Fees. Tribble WiFi access. Mattress are of bad type makes your sleep uncomfortable. One time I need to take my wife to the hospital around 2 AM. Since she could NOT walk, I requested a mobile chair from the receptionist just to bring her down from the room to the reception. She refused to borrow me the chair and the hotel has is not equipped with a Wheelchair!!
Location Staff promptness to requests Complimentary drinks in the minibar
Lack of Steam room and Jacuzzi Payment for parking
The hotel was very well located near a bus route but finding it was tricky. Everything about the hotels was good especially the breakfast and the restaurant for supper.
The city was very disappointing.
Spacious rooms comfortable beds ,swimming pool, some kitchen tools . You will find bus number 124 or 3 to go holiday inn .Bus station is closer to ZOB hamburg .The bus stop (Haltestelle ) H name is Bilhorner Muhlenweg .
The staff are always courteous, even if they are terribly busy (which they are, night and day). The swimming pool is small, but gorgeous, with a wonderful temperature; the sauna is also a nice pleasure. The restaurant and room service were also great. I've stayed in many hotels in Hamburg, but this is obviously one of the most popular, probably because of location, and value for the money. Great cityscape views of Hamburg and the Hafen (harbor) from the upper floors. Overall, a very nice extended stay.
Because it is so popular, it is often hard to get to front desk staff. The pool hours need to be extended because of demand for use. The internet needs to be a bit more dependable, and without having to relog in, sometimes several times a day. With the volume of guests that take local transportation (HVV) to this hotel, they really need to add more buses or an additional line, to get to the UBahn, as the buses are often overcrowded with an entire bus-full of people walking directly to the hotel.
it is near the main road
bad wifi quality, problem with parking space. Breakfast is quite costly. Problem with money in advance through booking.com
Breakfast is fantastic.
Stayed in the Bridge Inn section of the hotel this time. The room was far smaller and there was no air conditioning. It was hot and sunny when we stayed and the room got very hot so our only option was to open the windows. The noise of the traffic below however meant that we couldn't sleep very well. We stayed in the other part of the hotel previously and everything was great as we had the A/C.
the room was extremely hot and window could not be left open due to Autobahn traffic
No basic facilities in the room. And above all the charges were different than what i booked through Booking.com. Later the person at reception confirmed the price at which i had booked, but than i realized they swiped my card twice for different amounts. which i am struggling to get back now. huh.. Big name but comes with very poor business practices.
Spa was very Little, not much to talk about. Signs on street were not clear when coming with bus.
Location is good as public transportation is available.
Staff attitude is really bad Breakfast is too bad Room is too hot as no AC Services in general are really disappointed ... this is the worst hotel I had ever seen in my life
Good location for stop over. Very nice staff at reception and restaurant. Good dinner. Free parking was available nearby and also a garage with a fee.
Very pricey breakfast!
