Holiday Inn Hamburg

I was completely disapointed by this hotel not least of which because of the rather difficult journey through the complex to reach my room - elevator to the 2nd floor a walk along corridors, negotiating stairs to a second elevator to the floor where my room was located. The room was drab, carpets filthy and clearly in need of updating.

Spaceous room for a relatively low price; very cozy

Everything was enjoyable meals cleanliness taxi services and staff

Nothing at all everything was top notch

comfortable - a little to far from the city centre and the area is no so good

Spa and Sauna only open from 7pm to 10pm

Luxurious and imressive hotel, nice room view, cleanliness, excellent staff, swimming pool, nice bar opened till late at night.

Quite hot room without a/c, couldn't open windows due to noise. Car or taxi needed to reach the center.Breakfast not included.

1 - The helpnessness/indifferent attitude in matters of the hotel staff standing at reception in most of the issues ; 2- Being a 4-star hotel, the internet facility should be complimetary ; 3- i have stayed at holiday Inn Hamburg now for around 6 months in different periods but i have not seen any one sitting at the piano desk and playing some music,its always on the recording ; 4 - bar is small

Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich, das Frühstück war auch okay. Das Ein- und Auschecken ging sehr schnell.

Keine bzw zu wenig Parkplätze vor dem Haus für Ankunft und Abfahrt. Sehr kleiner Aufzug, mässige Hinweise wie ich mein Zimmer finde. Schlecht zu öffnende und zu schliessende Zimmertür, nicht verriegelbare Zimmertür, keine Klimaanlage (es war sehr warm im Zimmer), das Fenster was als Notausstieg gedacht ist. lässt sich nicht ganz öffnen, auf Kipp funktioniert. Der Fernseher hat auf den meisten Programmen ein mieserables Bild.

Nach ca. 20 Uhr ist das Hotel aus der Innenstadt mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nur noch bedingt zu erreichen, das ist für eine Weltstadt wie Hamburg sehr schlecht.

das hotel war gut ausgebucht, dadurch gab es überall erhebliche Wartezeiten - Schwimmbad war ständig überfüllt - trotz einer gut besuchten Bar wurde nur bis zur angekündigten Uhrzeit ausgeschenkt - es gab in unserem zimmer keinen Schminkspiegel

Der Preis über das Hotel war 159,00 Euro und über booking 109,00 Euro. Ich hatte angeblich beim einchecken ein Nichtraucherzimmer bekommen, das aber ein Raucherzimmer war. Die Zimmertür war wohl vorher aufgebrochen worden und man konnte ohne große mühe die Tür von außen ohne Schlüssel öffnen.
