Holiday Inn München Süd  

The hotel was very nice and a good value. The staff was awesome! Parking was convenient and inexpensive. The hotel is near the subway so it was easy to get to downtown.

Internet is not free

Nothing special in this hotel, nothing memorable, nothing worthy to mention.

Last renovation must have been around '80s.... However, hey DO charge around €100/night, for giving ONLY a room!... ....breackfast (like most hotels in Germany do), is charged an additional €7,50/person!..... .....internet was also charged additionaly (€7,50/12hrs).... It's practically NOT possible to park n public road outside the hotel and there is a big underground parking in hotel's premises. However, they also charge this separately, for a nice 12,00/night!.... ....Last but not least: i. They are having rooms on the ground floor, which are actually rooms underground (from the front side of the hotel). ii. Due to their underground position, there is a distinct odour of moist and even moss iii. These rooms obviously have not been refurbished (furniture, carpet, WC etc.) since 10yrs (at least).

The breakfast was very poor if you are italian person... There was a lot of food to have an "internetional breakfast" but few food like brioches, cakes, differt type of yogurt ecc. Furthermore, I have celiac disease and I didn't find any food "gluten-free" like bread, biscuits or cakes...

Location is good for certain Companies, and Underground Station is in good reach.

I booked by booking.com but I need to change my stay period, Hotel staff was able to help me they refer me to booking.com, and booking.com takes ages to respond, so I have to bear a handsome amount of lose by changing my flight twice, I would be happy if Holiday-inn staff would deal them self with their booking partner in emergency situations

Not too far from the central city. I liked the facility of the gym and sauna. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

You need to walk some distance from the nearest station.

Staff very helpful. Comfortable room and bed and pillows. Very quiet: we were there during Oktoberfest and had the room nearest to the reception: we never heard anything. Secure parking under the hotel. Bar area very popular.

Price for breakfast too steep if one only wants a coffee and a roll.

The Holiday Inn was excellent, the location was great with the city center only 7 stops on the Ubarn and the station is only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Munchen is a brilliant city which is very welcoming with lots and lots to do.

For some reason room service wanted to clean my room everyday at 7am, I think they had forgotten it was October Fest!

The hotel was very clean located. The staff were friendly and helping. If you are driving your car, there might be some parking spots left on the street in the neighborhood which was not the case for us but the hotel has a garage that cost 13 €/night. We travelled with our dog and it was free of charge for the first night so I would call them a real pet friendly hotel.

The neighborhood was not only very quiet but probably too quiet! The breakfast was too expensive in hotel (20€) and we walked to a few bakers and restaurants to have breakfast but they were all closed in a Saturday morning! The garage entrance was so tiny that you can’t easily drive in.

Hotel stuff is very nice and helpful. The room is clean and bright. Ubahn is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There is a parking place nearby.

Went to Munich for the Champions League Final weekend. Booked before Chelsea won the semi-final in Barcelona because it was the only remaining available hotel on Booking.com with a free cancellation policy! Friendly helpful staff on reception, in the restaurant, and cleaning the room. Quiet room, good shower, lovely breakfast. Location 400 metres from nearest U-bahn metro.

It was a rather tired, very basic Holiday Inn in the southern suburbs, over seven miles (20 euros taxi fare) or eight stops on underground from the city centre. Like all hotels for the football final weekend the room rates were crazy. The basic twin room was not worth the 300 euros a night charge. Pool is tiny and sauna and steam room was not open until 5pm. But Chelsea won, so who cares!

Das booking.com die Übernachtungskosten, trotz gegenteiliger Behauptung, bereits vorher von der angegebenen Kreditkarte abgebucht hat!

für München gutes Prei-Leistungs-Verhältnis,

aber 20,-€ pP/Nacht für Frühstück, 13,-€ fürs Parken und 10,- für Internet sind weit überzogen!!!

Nicht viel.

Für Internet muss man über 10 Euro pro Tag bezahlen! Gleichzeitig darf nur eine Person,nicht zwei obwohl Doppelzimmer, ins Internet! Das ist unglaublich geizig! Das Signal war auch sehr schwach!

Veramente molto comoda al centro ed essendo dentro la prima zona della città permette di utilizzare il biglietto della metro giornaliero per muoversi ovunque. Camere rifatte giornalmente e personale plurilingue. Essendo in una zona residenziale è possibile trovare parcheggio gratuitamente vicino se non davanti all'albergo. Ottimo

Unico punto sfavorevole, se ne vogliamo trovare proprio uno, la struttura non è modernissima.
