Good breakfast for the category (only 2 stars...) Lack of elevator. The only room for a family of 4 is on the 3rd floor.

The hotel was cozy and friendly. It was near a parking garage and easy walking distance to shops, the river and other attractions. They had a very nice little breakfast in the morning as well. We would stay there again!

Hotel Holl has friendly staff, a handy location for exploring Cochem & surrounds and is situated in a lovely area. The use of old vinyl records for decor and the fresh breakfasts stick in the memory along with the rooms view of the cable chair lift and gently flowing brook below. Although travelling with friends this time the hotel appeared family friendly. There is little parking, although this is true for the majority of hotels in Cochem - we used the multi-story a little way downhill and not being fluent in German struggled a little with the ticket machine. None of which was the hotels fault and should not out you off trying it out.

Freindly Staff. Small and informal. Flexible. I arrived with friends on 6 motorcycles. although they did not have their own car parking they let us park the bikes on their front porch area.No charge.

It was inexpensive and easy to find although not located in the main tourist area. Breakfast was good. We were in the basement. It is like staying at your grandmother's house down there. Cold, dark, extra bugs, cheap decorations. The wireless (they charge 5 euros per day) doesn't work in the basement. You can sit in the cafe/lobby, but they won't allow you to bring your own water bottle so it's awkward! We stayed three nights, and the staff was nice enough, but they have limited English and didn't know how to get to the castles in the area without GPS. There is very little parking. It's mostly a place for German bikers. I would pay more for a little better place next time.

The room was a good size, staff friendly and spoke good english, good location - short walk to shops restaurants Parking was limited, they could only accept cash on checkout which was a bit of an inconvienience, as we were on the third floor it would have been useful to have had use of a lift even if it was just to get our bags in and out. there was no tea / coffee making facilities in the room

Kamer was keurig.
