Simply a wonderful and cozy city. You can enjoy shopping and great restaurants. Best of all, you get breathtaking views of this part of Mosel wine country. Cochem Castle is truly worth the trip. You're taken back to a time of great architecture, kings, and queens. Vineyards adorn the hillsides.

My family and I were eager to explore Cochen and booked an apartment for our stay. From the moment we arrived, we realized the apartment lived up to all our expectations and what was promised in the description. We were greeted with a spotlessly clean and tidy place, which made us feel comfortable right away. What really stood out was the exceptional attention we received from the owners. They were attentive to any needs we had and made us feel at home. Finding a place like this not only met but exceeded our expectations and brought us great joy during our stay. We are sure to return as soon as possible. This apartment has become our favorite place to stay in Cochen.

Cochem is a great place to visit.
Cochem is a great place to visit. Take the river cruise through the lock for 3 hour tour you won't regret it. The castle tour is nice thing to do. All the write ups for the town seemed interesting & a location near the river. Parking was consistently a problem in most areas and restaurant food was average at best. Went to a lovely restaurant, 8k away in Belstrain & both food & wine recommended were exceptional. Used our car for transportation. There was a local bus station & train within town limits, so car wasn't necessary here.
