Hotel am Sophienpark    

the area is very picturesque. The hotel is very clean, a great location and breakfast is very good

prices at shops in Baden-Baden are very high. Food was only average in the restraurants we visited compared to other areas of Germany we visited

the room had good heating but it felt a little chilly in the beginning for some time (probably because the room was quite large) so we kept radiator running at max and eventually it got quite warm

Location is wonderful. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Liked getting an extra hour at the spa free.

The location was perfect. It was 500m from the spa and the casino. The hotel is really nicely furnished and our room was very nice. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff, someone is always at the front desk. Coffee (nespresso) and water in the lobby. There was also little cakes at one point. Clean oversized rooms. Nice bright with tall ceilings and chandeliers. Breakfast buffet was well stocked with the usual European style variety. Sunday breakfast 7-10am. Hotel is perfectly located in the center and yet quiet. Parking costs 14€ and they will valet park, no extra. Looking forward to another visit!

Room wasn't heated before we arrived, but that seems typical in Europe.

everything was as it's been described ,, such great hotel in middle of baden-baden near from every thing especially, carcalla spa.. it was awesome hotel.. restaurants, bars, shops.. all above with walking distances..

the iron facility it was in the corridors they should supply ones in every bedroom.. no air conditioning but, they offered fans

They charged for children breakfast even 6 month baby I made checkout and paid full money and after 4 days the hotel send me message that they didn't find the room key and they will charge throught vise 60 Euro and I heard that they made the same with other guest from Kuwait and Old furniture and bath towels finally the hotel is noisy and too old and nobody will help you to carry your bag and no air condition d

nice location, close to almost everything in Baden-Baden. very polite reception staff. clean room. nice facilities in each floor corridor such as, iron, ironing board, shoe cleaning machine & vending machine for water, chocolates & drinks.

I was fooled by the reception staff. I booked a family room and when I cheked in they told me that I will be upgraded to a family apartment. I was very happy until I discovered that I have stayed in the fifth floor which was very old, the other floors are very new and clean. I came to know this the scond night when I had to go the fourth floor to do some ironing because I did not find iron in my room. The funny part is that when I asked the reception how come a 4 stars hotel don't provide iron and table in the room, the answer was this not an important service in Europe.

We had a wonderfull spacious room, very well redesigned. the hotel is gourgeous, great old grandeur, but now redesigned to keep up with today's wishes and taste. well done, and prefect location in the heart of the cty.

only the pillows were to thin, please make sure visitors can choose.

I liked the fact that the central was really central to Baden Baden, which meant that you could pop back easily during the day. I loved the grounds and my balcony, where I could sit in the sun and read when I wanted a quieter time The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and also the fee tea and cakes during the day

Remodeling was disruptive. Replacing carpets is noisy, messy, and smelly. I can' believe they scheduled it during "high-season", what were they thinking? They weren't. ... I think If it were not for that, the experience would have been much better. I will recommend, but check to see if they are still remodeling.

Dirty carpets (hotel in desperate need of renovation) Some of the bedding and soft furnishings were stained and had a bad smell (maybe also because pets are allowed in the rooms)

un ottimo hotel, con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo,camere eccellenti ,profumate ,ampie e luminose ma ben insonorizzate (ho chiesto comunque quelle ai piani alti) ottima colazione con prodotti di qualità personale gentile e disponibile tranne una ragazza alla reception ,un pò "freddina" lo consiglio caldamente

Ein gelungener Mix aus alter Bausubstanz und moderner Architektur, besonders das Treppenhaus ist sehenswert.

Im Frühstücksraum stehen die Tische zu dicht beieinander, wir hatten das Glück, dass nicht viele Gäste zu unserer Zeit dort waren, sonst wäre es uns zu eng gewesen.
