very large room and nice building not within walking distance of down town yet close to the metro, breakfast buffet could be improved in variety (e.g. smoked salmon, herring and sweet pastries are missing) but it is way more than adequate |

Location near Hamburg city center. Reception not available. Difficult parking procedure.Reception on 2nd floor. Confusion as to room assignment. Early check-out rule. Relatively expensive(Only 5 Euros cheaper than a 4 star hotel in Berlin on the Ku-dam.) |

Big breakfast, nice to walk to the station and planten & Blumen park The price became lower after I made reservation but they didn't discount it(it was not the cheeapest price!!) The owner was wonderful and friendly but a young guy was not so good.There are many hotels around there & hard to find. |

Hotel staff was excellent and very courteous. My room was small but nice. There weren't any English language news channels on the t.v. |

Room clean and in perfect condition. Staff proficient in English. Close to train station. Safe neighborhood. Room and bathroom of reasonable size. I requested an allergy friendly room, but the room had a carpet and curtains, which are potential sources of dust. Nevertheless, the room was clean. Reception (area) a little underwhelming. |

Large room on ground floor, useful with young child. Reception on 2nd floor and room on 1st floor, could be a problem with young families lugging bags up/down. Security an issue as unpaid visitor allowed into the building and our section by other people staying, no phone service to contact reception for such emergencies. |

Das Hotel war ruhig. Die Mitarbeiter freundlich.Frühstück reichlich. Die Fließgeräusche (beim duschen) in der Wand direkt am Bett.Waren sehr laut und die Beleuchtung war sehr dunkel. |

Das Hotel am Dammtor ist ein "Geheimtipp" unweit der Alster: ein Gebaeude mit wunderschoenem Interieur, einer verkehrstechnisch aeusserst guenstigen Lage und mit sehr angenehmen, freundlichen und kompetenten Mitarbeitern. |

Die individuell gestalteten Zimmer und der besondere Charme dieses Hauses laden ein wieder zu kommen. Es ist ungewöhnlich, dass die Rezeption im 2.OG ist und es ist schade, dass das Frühstücksbuffet kein Rührei bietet |

Zeer prettig en behulpzaam personeel. Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt. Grote en luxe kamer. Heerlijk rustig op de kamer en toch heel centraal gelegen. De handdoeken mochten wel vaker verschoond worden bij een verblijf langer dan 2 nachten. Een telefoon op de kamer zou ook prettig zijn. |

La déco sympa Pas d'accueil de nuit, ce qui est scandaleux vu le prix de la chambre. Chambre mal insonorisée, on entendait les gens se moucher et parler dans la chambre d'à côté. Egalement le craquement du plancher en bois à l'étage du dessus était là pour vous réveiller. |
