The hotel is located along the Elbe river, in a quiet neighborhood outside the center, which we enjoyed very much as wanted to have a peaceful relaxing stay The deco, the friendliness of the staff, the atmosphere, value added services (arrangement for 'surprise' birthday cake, cleaning of the car windows overnight in garage, just to list a fewe) etc etc were just fantastic ...this is certainly a top quality hotel.

We were looking forward to dining at their restaurant as they had good reviews. We tried to make a reservation upon arrival but were told that it was fully booked for the next two days. At the end, the waitlist had cleared and we had a dinner there but were not too impressed with the quality - and we thought 4.5 hours for 4 course dinner was a little too long. Surely there are people who enjoy long dinner but we thought they could consult the guests as 45min waiting time between the courses is rather unusual. Also, we was told that as the menu was hand written (which is nice), they needed to have 2 day priopr notice to prepare a 'lady's menu' which we thought was quite surprising for the restaurant of that reputation/price.

Der Frühstücksraum, das Ambiente ist einmalig mit Blick auf die Elbe. Der Wellnessbereich ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm und saube, dass noch kostenlose Apfelsaft und Wasser zur Verfügung stand, ein starkes Plus. Die Angestellten waren sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Massage konnte trotz Ansage vormittags nicht auf den späten Nachmittag realisiert werden (da Massageangebot extern eingekauft wird).

Alles, man kann den Aufenthalt ab betreten des Hotels genießen.Hervorragend geschulte Mitarbeiter in allen Bereiche, äußerst freundliche und professionelle Betreuung der Gäste. Topzimmer mit liebevollem Willkommensgruß (Pralines aus der eigenen Konditorei), ausgezeichnetes Frühstück in stilvollem Rahmen untermalt mit klassischer Musik, was gibt es schöneres.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Der Preis für die Tiefgarage mit 19,50 € ist doch etwas üppig. Freies Parken jedoch in der Umgebung nicht möglich.

Ein Hotel mit sehr privater und persönlicher Atmosphäre. Weit weg von dem Standardperfektionis der großen Tophotels. Man spürt die Tradition und verzeiht kleine Fehler. Und endlich einmal eine Tiefgarage die auch für größere Fahrzeuge geeignet ist.

Die Fernseher auf den Zimmern sind sehr klein und entsprechen nicht dem Standard.

Die Freundlichkeit und Kompetenz aller, meist jüngerer Mitarbeiter ist hervorragend. Man spürt dass es jedem Mitarbeiter Spass macht in diesem Hause zu arbeiten. Best Note 1
