Staff very friendly, very warm welcome, very helpful. Fantastic location just on the corner of the Marktplatz. So easy to walk everywhere and all the shops, cafes, restaurants are very close.
Hotel looks a little bit tired. Needs redecorating. A lot of the wood eg staircase is chipped and very worn giving it a tired feeling. Breakfast, although included, is a little bit disappointing.
Decent size family room. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful manager Fabian. Excellent location. Good value compared to other places. Would stay again.
Kids beds pretty hard. Very noisy at night with rowdy drinkers below on the street - must be a bar there.
The staff was very friendly. We were able to watch the fireworks right from our room window.Location was great. Breakfast was great.
it was noisy (only because of the rowdy people in the streets)
Great location, great value for the money.
Walls are very thin, location by the main square means it can be pretty loud.
Room was nice and breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. The castle is only a short walk away, along with the nearest bus stop.
Fold out beds were a little rough. The location is right next to the town square, so you will get a lot of noise outside. Not too bad if you're up late, but if you have kids who go to bed early, it can be noisy.
The room was huge can clean, the location was perfect, staff was very helpful.
There is no air conditioning and we had to leave the windows open. The crowd below at Mel's was loud but we still managed to get some sleep.
Staff was very helpful. Good breakfast and excellent location!
Nice location in Heidelberg, friendly staff. The rooms are clean and rather comfortable (single room - queen bed), good value for money.
Stairs are extremely noisy: avoid rooms next to the staircase! Poor (very!) internet connection (public wifi).
location, right in the best part of the old town
The hotel is extremely well located in the heart of the old town. Th staff was very friendly and helpful.
The neighbourhood was quite noisy on the first night, but not the second.
Staff v good
Stairs inside hotel might benefit from a floor covering, it can be noisy inside hotel when people are going up and down the stairs
The staff were great! They were very accommodating with our request and understanding of our baby's needs. They went out of their way to help us after a very sleepless night due to our room being situated above a nightclub. They were willing to change rooms, help us with our luggage, our laundry and generally everything to ensure our comfort. Couldn't recommend the staff (esp the German guy with the 1.5 years old baby)! Thank you. Our room (room 4) was also very spacious and huge!
Unfortunately being in the centre of the old town and above a night club caused a sleepless night for us. The night club (Mel's) is opened on Tue, Thu - Sat. We couldn't sleep on Tue night until after 2pm when the night club shut. People were hanging outside the nightclub which was directly outside our rooms....so very, very noisy. Also the hotel has no lifts...so make sure you have a light load! The stairs are also wooden and echo a lot with people walking up and down.
location excellent. hotel is very clean. room sizes good.
bar around the corner so . noise till 3 or 4 am. no elevator. no parking. staff have a whatever attitude. hotel reminded me of 70s comedy rising damp but unfortunately Rigby never showed up.
