Hotel am Rathaus  

Loved the staff. Mariana and all the staff were super! No amenities. Loved the breakfast! Delicious hot coco. Clean, rustic, very cozy. Loved the people! Thanks!

No amenities like a sauna.

The location of the hotel was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was small, but the breakfast and everything else was very good. Would stay again.

Convenient location is the key strength of the hotel. The staff are very very nice. I personally like the old building structure as it gives a historical touch of the leisure stay in this old town which is famous for old castle.

The staff was very nice and helpful, the rooms while not elegant were comfortable and very clean; the breakfast offering was excellent. It was centrally located.

The only thing I might find fault is there is no air conditioning apparent - it turned into a warmish night - I don't know if that's really a fault though.

Very nice and spacious bedroom, clean and bright bathroom. Excellent location at the heart of Heidelberg.

Not a problem if you are fit, but we had a knee injury when we stayed at the hotel ... and we had to climb 4 floors with no elevator. This made us think that maybe older people, or disabled could have an issue if not warned in advance. This is a suggestion to improve communication, but we did not see this as a flaw from the hotel.

Clean, comfortable, good breakfast.

Friendly, English speaking staff. Location close to shopping and nightlife.

Nothing fancy or extravagant. Simple and basic.

absolut perfekte Lage

Da sich im Kellerbereich eine Diskothek befindet, setzten sich deren Besucher auf die Treppen vor dem Hotel und machten einen höllen Lärm. Samstags schließt die Diskothek um 3.00 Uhr, Lärm auf der Straße bis 5.00 Uhr morgens, sodass man kein Auge zu machen konnte. Schönes Hotel; aber absolut nicht zu empfehlen, wenn man seine Ruhe braucht.

Alte, abgelebte Einrichtung, Zimmer waren nicht sauber (Haare, Kalk und Schimmel im Bad).

Die Lage des Hotels ist für den Stadtbesuch als Ausgangsort hervorragend. Sehr saubere Zimmer.

Es fehlt der Aufzug, was für die höher im Haus gelegenen Zimmer notwendig ist, um den Koffer nicht etagenhoch schleppen zu müssen. Die Wände sind sehr hellhörig und due Holztreppe sehr laut. Eine Teppichabdeckung, die schallschluckend ist, wäre empfehlenswert.
