This family-run hotel is centrally located in the Medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a 5-minute walk from the market square. Wi-Fi is free in the whole hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the Altstadt which meant we could walk everywhere with ease. Parking could be a bit of an issue in the busy season. The bath towels were a bit old and very thin.

The owner was extremely friendly. Due to travel issues we arrived almost an hour after check-in nd he was kind enough to return and let us in. Fantastic location. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and depending on how you laid you felt the springs in your sides. The pillows are also very flat. The Internet had a very poor signal on the third floor. The shower wand/holder was broken.

The hotel localized inside the Old Town. Small , nice room with a fantastic view. Very friendly and helpful owner . We recomend the night city tour with a fantastic guide - a little bit like a Monty Python's Star ;)

The location of Hotel Am Siebersturm is ideal! It's inside the beautiful Rothenburg wall. So Romantic and Just a few minutes walk to the main market square. Not a criticism...just a comment...the bathroom is tiny. But it was modern and functional. What can you expect in a building that's probably hundreds of years old.

I did like parking was close, and that the room was super clean. breakfast not included, and there was a time we needed info of the front desk and they were no where to be found. Also check out was awful, they don't take visa's and we gave 150 for a 136 bill... they didn't have change, and made us go get change! Crazy----

This was an excellent hotel. The staff were very helpful and kind to the children. Owner spoke perfect English. The restaurant was excellent for evening meals and breakfast. Even though we had a "streetside" room, it was very quiet. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Nothing comes to mind.

the location and the fact that it was free in that period !!! the breakfast is ok but not great and there's no reception didnt' like the rooms very much but then again they're made for families not for single business travellers

The view from our rooms was spectacular. We only wish we could have stayed another night. This small hotel is a gem. Inside the city walls makes it easy to get out and see gorgeous Rothenburg.

The location was excellent. Many rooms overlook the Tauber River valley. We were within two blocks of the town center. We could easily walk to shops, restaurants, museums, etc. We arrived early and the owner gave us 5 keys. Told us to look at five rooms (they are all different) and to select the one we wanted. Breakfast was delicious. We loved the Criminal Museum, the cathedral, "walking the wall," and the Night Watchman tour. The small bakeries and meat markets were the source of many delicious snacks. We purchased most of our souvenirs in Rothenberg and mailed them home. This was not a problem for us (we chose a room on the first floor), but guests should know that there is no elevator and the "hike" up to the third floor with suitcases could be problematic for some older or disabled guests. When booking, the owner suggests requesting a room on the first floor if stairs are difficult.

It was small but charmingly historic. The location was perfect for exploring the old town. Free parking and internet (when working) was a bonus The breakfast was not included and overpriced. The pillows were too soft and the rooms could be noisy depending on the location within the hotel.
