The cheapest rooms overlook a busy avenue (twice 4-lane) but that's not a problem. Those rooms are quiet thanks to thick double glazing. You won't hear a noise. Guaranteed. I didn't like the wi-fi system. Each time you want to use Internet in your room you have to ask for a voucher with a different username and password. The voucher is valid only 6 hours. So I would recommend the hotel only if you don't need "intensive" Internet access.

Ibis suites was a new experience, I have spent one week and had a good experience. The front office personnel especially a young lady (Marianne) was friendly and welcoming I felt home. I will always consider Ibis next time I visit Berlin.

very clean, especially bath room. everyday cleaning is perfect. morning buffet is very simple but sufficient. roadside rooms are little bit noisy. this is a problem. though there are electric air-conditioning equipment(for warm and cool both)and also steam heater in each room so that windows may be closed for all seasons , electric air-conditioning for winter season(warm) is not working. cooling (summer) works

Breakfast is very good. Situation is practical, close to subway and some of main business streets. Room and toilets are quite small, some of staff not at all helpful. It is not worth its price.

A good value for the money: decent-sized room with an affordable minibar, very clean and adequately comfortable. For my purposes, it was ideal: a five-minute walk to either the Deutsche Oper (to the west) or the Schillertheater (temporary home of the Staatsoper). And it's an easy walk to the wonderful zoo. Breakfast wasn't included in the price I paid and seemed overpriced a la carte at 14 euro. (I walked a couple of blocks around the corner and had a croissant and cappuccino for 2.70.) My view was of a parking lot. No alarm clock was provided, though the front desk was on time with a wake-up call.

Big and nice breakfast, good to cope with tourists walking days. Location is really close and above the u station (you can feel the trains from the ground and the first floor!). Few seconds walking to reach a stop of the efficient and expensive berlin public transport. Traffic noise coming from outside, especially on the first floor where I was. Big deal for late-morning and light-sleeping people.Don't try to close the windows to avoid it, you will finish oxygen soon. Ventilation in the bathroom can be improved. In 9 days beds sheets were changed once and in one of the last days. Matrimonial bed is simply 2 single beds attached, with separate sheets and blankets.

The breakfast was very good. There was a lot of choice, but you pay 14 euros for it. We found an arrangement that it was included. You have different sorts of cheese and ham, five different yoghurts and corn flakes (muesli), fresh fruit salad, for sort of juice, eggs, tea or coffee, pistolets and sometimes croissants. The staf is very helpful and friendly. Very near to the metro, in less than 10 minutes you are in the centre. The rooms were relatively quiet, if you don't face the street.Sometimes, it's hot, but there was a ventilator, that helped a lot. There are also free tea facilities in your room, which we used. The beds are very soft to sleep, for people problems with their beck, that can be a problem. The room was very clean, only under the mattresses we found a lot of hairs who weren't ours...

Very nice hotel. Quiet and clean. A bit much "attitude toward the Russian." It would be nice if we could speak German.

Great breakfast and the fact it is located next to the U-Bahn. It's hard to believe that a hotel which is recently renovated has no airconditioning. During a hot night it is difficult to sleep.

The staff is extremely helpful and nice through our staying. Wireless is available for free in the lobby as well as in the room, which brought great convenience. Overall it's a lovely experience and an add up to our journey in Munich.

Very close to the Opera but unfortunately there were no show when I staid at the hotel. Even at the 6th floor, an open window brings a lot of noise from the street.

Close to the Opera. Noisy. Located next to an 8-lane, extremly noisy, street. It was impossible to sleep with windows open. With windows closed it was very stuffy (air conditioning didn't work).

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel was right next to the Ubahn station, which made it very easy to see the city. We didn't get the breakfast because it was a bit expensive, but there was a grocery store right down the block with everything that comes with a German breakfast for 1/3 the price of a breakfast.
