Staff were welcoming and helpful...The hotel's location is central and the old town centre is nearby yet it is in a quiet setting.The hotel is one of Weimar's restored historical building. With the charm of Weimar - everything there is to see in the town - and the nearby Buchenwald camp and memorial - the town seems to not yet have been discovered by a mass tourist market. The hotel provides a great buffet breakfast. My room was beautifully decorated and spacious.

For 20+ years we had an agency which sent 450 young people to work in hotels in, France, Switzerland, Austria, Bavaria and visited all the resorts in the Alps, staying in many small hotels. We can safely say that Anna Amalia is the nicest small hotel in which we have ever stayed

Front staff was excellent. Owner was very nice and helpful. We met him at the restaurant (through his dog "Teddy") and he asked if we needed help or any translation of the menu or directions in the city. He made us feel very welcome. I enjoyed being greeted by "Teddy" the yellow lab. Rooms are big and very clean. It's a very relaxing place. We would stay again. Thank you! The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of town. A little bit of a walk from the train station, but bus service is excellent.

Sehr gutes Frühstück, Lage an der Fussgängerzone Leider zu wenig Parkplätze, im nahegelegenen Parkhaus sind etwa 15 Eur/Tag zusätzlich erforderlich, im Doppelzimmer steht leider nur ein Stuhl zu Verfügung

Die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Die zentrale Lage. Die Ruhe im Hotel. Das gute Frühstück. Die schlechte Parkmöglichkeit. Das Fahrzeug musste im Parkhaus stehen, was sehr hohe Kosten verursacht hat.

Sehr freundliche Angestellte. Die zentrale Lage und der private Parkplatz sind ein grosses Plus. Das Hotel ist auf dem modernsten Stand und sehr gepflegt. Das Frühstückangebot ist ausgezeichnet.
