Hotel Artim  

The hotel has undergone a recent renovation and feels very fresh and clean. The location is quiet, good for metro access, dining, and shopping. It is especially well situated for the gay traveler who wishes to be near nightlife. I stayed during the Easter holiday, and the hotel extended its weekend breakfast hours to 11:00 for four of the five days of my stay. The room had a view of Fuggerstrasse and was larger than I expected, compared to other budget hotels in the area.

The elevator was rather slow at times.

It is old hotel without decoration. Generally not comfortable but our room was big. The blind had holes. It was quietly. I will never stay there again. OR not for that money:)

It is superbly located. Great and friendly staff, good price and awesome value.

I liked it's proximity to bars and clubs as well as shopping and leisure facilities and also the Underground train system. The price of accomodation was very good value. The room and bathroom were spotless on arrival. Rooms were cosy and warm and shower was powerful and comfortable. I would say the hotel is of a 3 star rating rather than 4 star - that seems too high. The beds weren't made or the bathroom serviced (toilet paper replacement etc) throughout our 3 night stay which seems unusual as this would be standard service for 3 star but most especially for 4 star. That is a small criticism as everything else was just perfect for our needs. We never made it up in time for breakfast so cannot comment on that.

The bathroom should have been serviced at least once during our three night stay (toilet paper replacement etc) as well as the making of the beds but that didn't happen. Not a big deal but certainly that would not happen in any 3 or 4 star hotel I've stayed in before. Also, if 4 star hotel, it would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. This is standard for even 2 star hotels in uk and Ireland.

Room size is excellent, as is the cleaniness and location of the hotel.Reception staff knowledable and helpfull regarding the local area, transport, and theatre reservations.Breakfast is very varied and plentiful.This is the third time I have stayed here during the last eight years and these standards have not deteriorated.

Following the above comments all I would say here is the decor is now a bit tired.

Die Lage.

Definitiv kein 4-Sterne-Hotel: alte Zimmereinrichtung, antikes Fernsehgerät, flackernde Lampen, keine Minibar/Kühlschrank, kleines Bad mit Stock- und Schimmelflecken, mageres Frühstücksbüffet (kaum Obst, Käse und Wurst von Aldi, wässrige Fruchtnektare, kaum Brotauswahl -- stattdessen Plätzchen). Preis-Leistungsverhältnis völlig unangemessen.

Große sauberes Zimmer und großes sauberes Bad. Gute Betten.

Selvom hotellet er lidt slidt, er det ok hotel. Når den igangværende renovering bliver færdig, bliver det sikkert helt godt. Beliggenheden er central hvis man færdes en del området omkring Schöneberg og Kurfürstendamm.

Sehr zentrale, dennoch ruhige Lage.

Das Hotel ist aus meiner Sicht mit 4 Sternen überbewertet, 3 Sterne wären angemessen. Das Personal - insbesondere im Frühstücksraum - wenig freundlich.

Gunstig gelegen in het centrum (nabij KaDeWe en Gedachtniskirche), prima prijs/kwaliteitverhouding (voor ons twee 70 euro per nacht, inclusief ontbijt), vriendelijk personeel, schoon, rustig.

Valt in het niet bij de positieve beoordeling: beetje weinig broodkeuze bij het ontbijt, beetje gehorige kamers
