The rooms were very nice and clean. The floors were heated (it was extremely cold in Germany when I stayed). The bed was very comfortable. It was relatively quiet as it is a side street off a busier Segerostrasse. 5 minute walk to the Uni Essen U-station. One train stop (or 10-minute walk) to the Limbecker Platz Mall. Good breakfast buffet. Free internet. And best of all, the staff/owners were very friendly, and can speak English if your German is nicht sehr gut.

It is a very nice small hotel. The price is good included breakfast and free internet.Very good breakfast in a nice, bright but very small breakfast room surrounding by windows. The problem is that you can not walk to the center. It is quite far and the hotel is not very central. There is the University subway station very near and the center is 3 stops. There is no lobby. I would prefer separate bottles of shampoo and body shower and even a body lotion.

We hadden de gezinskamer voor z`n tweeen. Dat was lekker veel ruimte. Aardige en belangstellende uitbaters, met goeie tips voor uitjes. De bank om voor de tv te hangen was minder comfortabel. Het was erg warm en het viel niet mee om de kamer `s avonds af te koelen. Het hotel staat naast (waarschijnlijk) goedkope huurflats en daar kwam wat reuring vandaan.

Hotel op rustige plek met eigen parkeergelegenheid. Schone en nette kamers.Prima ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel.Wij waren met eigen vervoer en dan is het prima reizen naar het Red Dot museum en museum Folkwang , beide 15 minuten vanaf het hotel.

Het ontbijt was uitstekend. De eigenaar was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De bereikbaarheid naar het centrum was lopend goed te doen. Gratis parkeren bij het hotel. Er viel niets tegen.

Het is een Familie Hotel. We zijn uitstekend ontvangen, het personeel neemt ruim de tijd voor je, tevens een goede uitleg gehad hoe we het gemakkelijkste de binnenstad konden bereiken. Het doel van ons bezoek was de Kerst markt, deze is aan te raden en was heel gezellig. In de toekomst zullen wij vaker gaan.

centrale ligging, je bent binnen 5 minuten midden in heel groot winkelcentrum en centrum van de stad. Plaatsaanduiding hotel kan beter. Hotel ligt in een minder nette buurt op werpafstand van een groot Red Light District, hier is niet iedereen van gediend. Ontbijt was prima en personeel ook. Wij hadden een hond en ook dit was geen probleem.

sehr freundliches Personal, familiär, aber nicht aufdringlich; sehr gute Lage (Nähe Universität und auch sonst gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar), trotzdem sehr ruhig, gutes Frühstück nachts war es etwas kühl - die Heizanlage müsste einmal überprüft werden.
