Hotel Bavaria  

Hotel Bavaria was excellent and wolfgang, petra and his family were very helpful and great fun, the breakfast was lovely and the view from the dining room was fantastic also the hotel is very clean and when we visit Bavaria again we will definately stay at this hotel, Michael and Martina Ireland

This hotel is a great find. It's family owned and run and they are always eager to help. The room is spacious, comfortable, and even has a jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was wonderful.

We were upgraded to a romantic suite due to their overbooking other rooms. It was very nice with a view of the creek and mountains from the balcony. The bedroom and living room had rolladens which are great, because they block out most all the light from outside. This is important in summer when it is only really dark from 11PM to 4AM.

The lack of rolladens in the bathroom which made it very bright for the 5AM visits. Not a big deal just a minor issue. There was also some road noise in our room. It was a holiday weekend which I think added to the traffic. Most times it would probably have been a quiet road.

The owners, Wolfgang and Petra, are wonderful hosts and truly engaging people who are only too happy to assist. Wonderful breakfasts, comfortable bar, spacious, comfortable rooms and the most amazing views of the Bavarian mountains that one might imagine. Plus, it was affordable, clean, comfortable....and absolutely worth a return visit.

Wolfgang and Petra were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The views are breathtaking, the breakfast buffet was delicious and beautifully setup.

Just an exceptional place to stay...Very nice accomadations and Petra and Wolgang went out of thier way to be helpful..Highly recommended !

The staff was fabulous, extremely friendly and gracious. They hosted an evening gluhwein stand so we could meet the Krampus and meet the other guests. Loved it!

Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, creating kind of family atmosphere. Breakfast was simply delicious and generous. Hotel is well located for everyone, who wants to explore this fabulous part of Alps.

The owners of the hotel are absolutely wonderful! They promptly returned my phone call and arranged for late check in. In the morning they helped me find the best bus route to the sites I wanted to visit and gave me a discount card, which saved me a couple of euros and allowed me to ride the bus for free! The breakfast was wonderful and the view from the breakfast room was even better!! I would stay again.

The one detail that was difficult was finding the parking for the hotel. I arrived late in the evening and the small driveway was not easy to find. Parking was free which is a big plus and the lot was big enough.

The owners/hosts, Wolfgang, Petra and Andre, were fantastic hosts and would do anything to make your stay enjoyable. Their local knowledge helped us plan our stay and do some things that we otherwise would not have known about. The rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was out of this world with a huge variety to choose from. They put pieces of cake or pastry out in the evening for guest enjoyment. They are a class act. Very nice people. Free parking right behind the building was great.

We enjoyed having a safe in our room, but it was not fastened down. Also, it was very dark in our bathroom. More lights/brighter lights would be appreciated.

We had a wonderful room with views of the alps. The staff were friendly, probably because it's family owned. Offers really good facilities and will definitely return to this hotel.

Bar do not open every night and only breakfast is served here, but there is a restaurant within a 3 mins walk.
