Hotel Café Ebner  

Large comfortable room, good breakfast with helpful staff. Very tranditonal german hotel feel with modern service standards. Breakfast is in the Ebnor cafe which is very kitch in dusty pink, just go back in the afternoon for tea & cakes in a lovely atmosphere

Bathroom is small when you consider the room size but a minor quibble

Lovely modern room, very nice staff and great breakfasts.

A very minor quibble, the walk to the island was a little far but it wouldn't stop me staying there again.

What's not to like...? Very friendly and professional staff - especially family tha own the hotel. Rooms are very clean, very well maintained and great beds. Breakfast choice was brilliant - freshly prepared to order eggs and bacon are available and the two ladies who run breakfast are really lovely.

I found the walk to Lindau island longer than expected.

What a gem. Staff extremely helpful, very attractive large bedroom, very comfortable beds and good sized modern bathroom. Good breakfast. Parking available on site. 10-15 min walk to Lindau island. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel manager and staff were friendly and always helpful . The hotel is on the mainland but just a 10 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride from the Lindau island . The island has very many restaurants and bars and is also the ferry port for trips to Austria and Switzerland ; the garden island of Mainau is also a popular destination . The hotel provides a very generous breakfast buffet . This is a hotel I would return to without question .

A very well run hotel with very good staff, willing, happy, wanting to please customers giving help without any fuss. A little out of the way but easy walk to town.

excellent staff, but if you know a little German as we do, it is better. Good location if you are interested in Bodensee and Lindau Island and the nearby Zepplin museum (not worth the trouble). Breaklfast good, but no restaurant on site for dinner, but plenty nearby........I would gladly stay there again.

Almost no English on the tv.........fortunately, We can understand German somewhat.

The room was very nice: although lacking tea and coffee making facilities, when requested for some, they were delivered immediately. Front desk staff were very accomodating.

The woman, seemingly in charge of the breakfast was quite brisk and not very friendly.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was always so friendly and everything was very clean. We had no problem finding it and the location was nice and quiet. Parking was very conveniently located behind the hotel and next to the hotel garden. Everything served for breakfast was fresh and tasty. We will return to this hotel on our next visit to Lindau and Lake Constance.

Thomas and his staff were excellent. They were full of useful information about the area and they made us feel at home. The rooms were large and well furnished. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh and the cakes etc in Cafe Ebner were delicious. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - would definitely go back again and would encourage friends to do so as well.

We loved the hotel! The staff were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was a delight; very spacious and my wife loved the balcony where she could smoke. The breakfasts were excellent and the waiting staff very attentive. The free car park at the rear was handy and the location ideal for exploring Lindau Island, 10 minutes walk away. It was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at and would happily stay there again.

The staff was friendly and top notch. Everyone was helpful and accommodating. The food was good, and the cafe portion has excellent cakes and chocolate. Don't pass them up, even if you can resist.

sometimes people smoking outside caused smoke to filter into the room. Because we had to have the windows open, we were unable to block it out.
