Very nice, and spacious room with a balcony with a view on Apls and on Neuschwanstein castle far off. Very pleasant personnel and perfect breakfast.

Very good staff (owner). Good breakfast. Calm and restful place. Not far from center of the town.

room is clean and bed is comfortable. the owner is very kindly. we didn't have a car and he drove us to the foot of swan castle. and the breakfast is sweet! the dinner hall is lovely with the view outside.

The food and accommodations were fabulous. The dining area had wonderful ambience. The presentation of our breakfast was exquisite and personally served by the owner.

We had a very clean room with balcony, super nice mountain view, comfortable beds, very quiet and peaceful at night:) Mr. Ruppert is really kind and helpful, we got welcome cold drinks from him which refreshed me from driving all day long, he explained us how to get to downtown in detail on the map, carried my super heavy suitcase...and the breakfast from him is one of the best I've ever had! It's a pity that we had to stay only 1 night. I travel more than 60 times per year for business / leisure, and Hotel Christine is the most special one! I definitely will be back again someday! By the way, parking is available outside the hotel and very easy.

We loved Herr Hotelier and his wife. They were both EXCEEDINGLY gracious and helpful. We arrived on a cold and snowy Easter Monday, feeling slightly miserable, and they put us at ease immediately. I don't speak any German, and my husband's just beginning to learn - Herr Hotelier very graciously spoke English to me and German to my husband. That's really quite unusual because most people would just speak English to the both of us. And they went to great lengths to make sure we were comfortable, warm and happy.

I like the hotel. The room is spacious enough, heating is good, comfortable beds.Quiet at night. The breakfast was absolutely amazing: Bravo, Herr Ruppert!

We stayed at Hotel Christine because of its price and the reviews about Chef Ruppert. During check-in, we were greeted by Chef Ruppert and provided fresh welcome drinks and snacks. The hotel is older than some of the Four Star accommodations in the city center, but don’t let this fool you. Every piece of the property is immaculately maintained! Our room (w/ a double bed) was surprisingly large, with a separate bathroom and sitting area. If this wasn’t enough, we were fortunate enough to stay in a room that had access to its own private balcony which overlooked the front of the property. As other reviews state, Chef Ruppert is a retired Michelin Chef. The quality and presentation of his breakfast are fantastic. My wife and I do a fair amount of traveling in Europe and our stay here easily ranks among our best (if not the best). If we are in the area again, we will definitely be staying here!

The host, K.R., is a charming, helpful, and thoughtful person. Not only does he excel in making a 5 star breakfast every morning, but also in making sure guests are comfortable and all is o.k. He helped us secure a rental car and then drove us to the car rental agency. YOU COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER HOST!

There was a lack of soap and shampoo on a daily basis. However, this was easily overlooked and certainly did not impact negatively on our stay.

Everything from the welcome drink when we arrived after a tiring day sightseeing to the lovely bedroom and sitting room.And the breakfast I must say was simply the best finished off with a glass of champagne.One word FANTASTIC.

The rooms was clean and modern. The breakfast was the best part. The breakfast a almost a formal affair with the presentation. We enjoyed it, but note, it is note a grab a coffee and go type, please plan on sitting and enjoying it.

The location is not near anything. If you are walking, it is a few km to the downtown area, 15 minute walk.

This is the second time we staid in hotel Christine. The reason are: 1) the staff is very kind 2) the breakfast is one of the best I've never had 3) the room is clean and detail 4) rooms have the wireless for free 5) it has a parking ( for free)

Nothing. The only weak point is the bathroom equipment: the is no shampoo, no bath soap, no room shoes.

The hospitality was amazing, Kurt was very kind and generous the moment we arrived. Hotel Christine was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating...we only wish we could have stayed longer, but we are thankful for the time we spent in Fussen as well as Hotel Christine. This was one of the most memorable times we had in Germany, thank you Kurt for everything (recommendations and advise included) you did in making our stay so wonderful!!

What a wonderful find! Kurt is one innkeeper who takes great pride in his hotel, offering a unique gourmet breakfast in impeccable surroundings. We were fortunate enough to have a balcony, which we utilized in the evenings with another couple. The locale is within walking distance of Fussen, where there are many restaurants and small shops. We would highly recommend a stay with Kurt Ruppert!

None. A perfect stay!

This is a small family run hotel in a residential part of the town of Fussen but the centre of Fussen is only a 10 minute walk away and the Lake Forggensee only a 5 minutes walk in the opposite direction. There are many comments about the owner - Herr Ruppert - but he is a delightful man with many years experience as a top Michelin rated chef in many world famous hotels. Now running this small hotel his attention to detail is amazing - from the Welcome drinks, the spotlessly clean rooms ( some balconies have views of the mountains and Neuschwanstein Castle), welcome snacks and then for his 'piece de resistance' his signature Breakfast - which brings gasps of amazement from guests as they enter the breakfast room. The staff at the hotel are all extremely helpful and meet very high standards of efficiency and cleanliness set by the owner. Oh - and free parking and wi-fi is also available.

I only wish Herr Rupert was still preparing dinners as I would love to sample more of his food............

Everything is great in this hotel, room is clean and comfortable, wifi is stable. The hotel is recommended for thoe who look for a quiet stay in the city of Fussen. It takes about 20-mn walk to the city centre so a car would be preferred especially when you're already exhausted of carrying your lugguage or finding your way to the hotel on arrival. The owner of the hotel, Kurt is a cute and good guy, we were welcomed an orange juice and chocolates upon arrival, and he also offered us a free ride to the city centre. Another thing worths highlighting is the wonderful breakfast in terms of its presentation, quality and the breakfast room is excellent, it makes to start your day nicely.

It would be perfect if an electric water boiler is available, especially for us, Chinese, who always love hot dishes/water. Also, the password only allows a single user login each time, perhaps one can request for another password for login with multiple devices, but we haven't tried to make such request. But as promised to Kurt, I would give the hotel 10 scores though there are always rooms for improvement. Afterall, it's already a wonderful hotel.

Very nice Breakfast

We stayed here based on the reviews on this website, and were not disappointed. The staff here are amazing, we were given juices on arrival, and had some snacks in our hotel room waiting for us, such a nice touch. Fussen is a lovely town and you can walk to it from the hotel. There is also a lake within walking distance that is really nice. Breakfast was incredible, we were very impressed.

The balcony attached to the room was a shared balcony, but it was still good.

The owner of the hotel is a Chef and his breakfasts are very special and changing from morning to morning. Our room had a terrace, with a view to the montains and the castel. Everything was super. The staf is excellent, talks English, German and even Italien. The location is close to the lake, just a few minuets walk and you can enjoy walking trips with beautiful views.

Owner and staff very helpful. Excellent breakfast was served in a beautiful breakfast room. Free onsite parking.

Master Chef Kurt Ruppert ensures that you enjoy his hotel with such an outstanding breakfast spread with linen cloths, fresh flowers, fresh fruits, smoked salmon, meats, cheeses and hot breakfast cooked to individuals. He was obliging to toast the roll for my husband (after an exclamation of Ya Vol) as well so he could enjoy the beautiful jams provided. He also has secret recipe juices that are very tasty. The rooms are large with a comfortable lounge sitting area and outside balcony to enjoy the views of the mountains. Free wi fi and free parking. We loved it all!
