Kurt knows his business and runs a first class small hotel. The attention to detail gave us a wonderful room with a view, equipped with everything needed for a night stop, including a welcome drink and snacks in the room. Breakfast was excellent. Thoroughly recommended.
Everywhere this hotel signals the pleasure the owners must have running this place. Everything is neat, bright and clean. Spacious room with double bed, large desk and flat screen TV. Bathroom nice and clean with a range of free soaps and shampoos. Free Wi-Fi internet worked well with sufficient speed to watch streaming media. Breakfast was superb, set up at the table. Everything seemed to be planned with a variety of very tasty food presented in a delicate manner. An exceptional hotel of which you will not find many.
Beautiful breakfast room with fabulous breakfast. Enjoyed the presentation and the lovely fruit, delicious smoothie and hot meat. Very quiet hotel with nice room.
Very clean and comfortable. Walking distance from town, restaurants, etc. Plentiful and attractive breakfasts. Owner very attentive, if sometimes a little intrusive.
Would have preferred a buffet breakfast, allowing more choice and less waste. Wi-fi worked, but you had to go through the sign-in procedure every time you logged on
The owner was very friendly and kind. Breakfast was awesome!
breakfast was superb and whole experience was very nice. Room was superb and huge.
nothing to not like
The breakfast was sensational. It was very nicely presented. It was nicely located and easy to access.
Breakfast is very good, amazing.
Excellent location in quiet neighborhood but convient to attractions. Staff was very attentive. Breakfast was served at the table rather than usual buffet in a beautiful sunroom. We highly recommend Hotel Christine.
Upon arrival, some drinks were given to us. Then the helpful owner of the hotel help us to carry our luggage up the stairs. The room is pretty spacious, very neat and clean. There are also some finger food at the small table to welcome customer, which is delectable. The owner is very nice, helpful, friendly, and approachable when you need any assist. Whenever we see him, he will asks about our day and we chit for awhile. The breakfast is very fresh, and nicely presented to us in the morning with wide varieties. It looks exactly in the pictures shown. The service is very great after all. We are very happy and impress with his service.
Location is a little too far from station. Suggestion: It will be great if they can change the dining area into restaurant for dinner. Cause sometimes it is too far to walk out to town and find dinner.
Staff always kind and helpful. Great breakfast, served with kindness. Large room with view on the castle. Less than ten min. walking from old town.
Lovely large, comfortable and well appointed bedroom with balcony - mountain views Spotlessly clean throughout Very helpful owner and staff Superb breakfasts Nothing was too much trouble
Intermittent wifi reception
This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The room is spotless and comfortable with a beautiful view from the balcony. The host, who's really nice, even offered us two girls a ride to the castle considering the bad weather and we were too tired from a long night train ride. And breakfast is so delicious that I ate too much. I strongly recommend this hotel, which is a 10+ !
Everything is excellent. The host is a very nice and humorous guy. I will live here for next time, and I recommend this hotel to all my friends.
A very very beautiful family hotel in Fussen. It has every attention to detail. Extremly clean, super comfy bed, lovely balcony, and in a great and quiet location- 20 mins walk to the village center, 10 mins walk to the lake and 10 mins drive to the neuschwanstein castle. We would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Fussen. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great value for money. The breakfast is the highlight! Tasty, fresh, lots of variety and pleasantly presented. Overall you will feel the hotel provides the great service in every way. it's the best I have ever come across in the industry who will make your stay an extremely pleasant one.
Nice clean rooms, freindly staff and good breakfast.
Poor wifi connection.
Very nice staff. Small snacks in the room when we arrived. Amazing breakfast-delicious food, freshly squeezed juice. Fresh flowers everywhere. Location close to town centre. Just perfect!
We already stayed here for the 3rd year on our way back from Italy to Belgium. We just love this hotel! Last year we even stayed 2 nights in order to visit the castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau which are very beautiful. The owner told us that King Albert II from Belgium also stayed here when he was still a prince on his way back from visiting Paola's family in Italy. He even showed us the guest book in which he signed with 'Albert de Belgique'. The breakfast is just wonderful! We got fresh juice, a smoothie, coffee, different kinds of bread, cheese, smoked salmon, ... Everything was served at the table. And then we also got a appelstrüdel with ice cream! There is free parking outside and WIFI is also free. Füssen is a very charming town and is situated at the beginning of the Romantische Straße and only a few minutes driving to the castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. We already recommended this hotel to several friends who also already booked here.
WIFI was not working well in the room (it did work at the reception).
Easy to find, large spacious room. Good location near to motorway links and route to and from Italy / Austria. The breakfast was of a high standard too.
For motorcyclists the gravel car park was treacherous in the heavy rain we had and no garaging.
Delightful room, wonderful breakfast in bright cheerful setting with friendly staff.
This hotel is really a spacious villa - beautifully furnished, well-equipped, meticulously cared for - set in a pretty garden in a quiet street. Attentive service. Ample, tasty breakfast elegantly served to guests at their tables. Good coffee! Bright, airy bathroom, large first-floor terrace (room 6).
In addition to a very comfortable room, and pleasing atmosphere throughout the hotel, the breakfast was especially outstanding.
Such a darling boutique hotel. Too bad the owner was about as rude and obnoxious as a person could be. The breakfast room, food presentation and quality was impeccable, as long as the owner didn't stop by your table and ruin the atmosphere. The room was good size, well-appointed and included a lovely balcony with a terrific view of the Alps. Quiet and peaceful location in a residential neighborhood, yet close to the downtown area.
From the moment we arrived, the owner was obnoxious. He acts like he doesn't speak English, but we found that when he needs to he can, plus he can understand it just perfectly. He showed us to our room, and immediately chastised us because we set a glass of juice on the desktop instead of on the blotter. He instructed us in great detail how everything in the room worked as if we were little children. It was a hot afternoon, and the hotel does not have air conditioning or ceiling fans. When we asked if he had air conditioning, he became angry and lectured us that "there is no reason for air conditioning... we have only five days a year when it is this warm, why would we need air conditioning!". The next morning, he scolded us for the way we parked our car. And it just kept getting worse... we asked for a light bulb for the bedside lamp, and he was not happy about that. When he brought it up to our room, he did not knock, he just opened the door and walked in. When he saw that we had several lights turned on in the room, he went and turned them down and loudly lectured us about how it was too bright, and we Americans did everything" Too much!" and were wasteful. Can you imagine! We had made the reservation for seven nights, but ended up needing only six, but he insisted on charging us for all seven. He even called booking.com and yelled at them, and when he gave the phone to me to speak to the representative, she kindly told me that the hotel owner would not cooperate and unfortunately, there was nothing she could do for me. So we stayed six nights and paid for seven. If all German people were as rude as this man,I would never visit that beautiful country again. Fortunately, he was the exception and the rest of my vacation was lovely, meeting wonderful people everywhere I visited. Where on earth did he come from?
Small hotel with 15 rooms. Had balcony with view the castle. Greeted with cocktails on arrival. Excellent breakfast.
WIFI did not reach our room. No elevator so carrying two large suitcases two flights was an exercise.
Very quiet, clean and spacious room. Parking on site was convenient. Delicious breakfast and great breakfast room. Kurt, the owner, is a Teddy Bear. We thourougly enjoyed our stay. Sue and Doug- Lodi, California
