Cheap, cheerful and close to railway station and centre of Munich. Fine for a one night stay.
The area is slightly dodgy, seemed to be in the red light district with a few of shady characters. Wouldn't feel comfortable bring outside alone.
The location to the main train station is perfect, as is getting around to see the sites.
The rooms are tiny and our teenager who is very tall had to sleep on a fold away bed which was not very comfortable. The breakfasts are pretty ordinary.
Staff were very good, good base for exploring, comfort room super and great value
No fridge in room for beer
Location is convenient
Shower in the room was unbearably disgraceful, can't be given to people! Internet is paid, which is fine, but for paid internet quality of the signal should be better,- internet was very slow with unstable connection.
It was in a reasonable spot. Close to the main station which was great
Not the nicest of streets/area to stay in. The room variations. We booked 2 comfort double room and one of them had a couch, coffee table and single chair. The other was a tiny bathroom that the sink didnt fit in and you could only walk around the edge of the bed
Hotel was great, a short walk to the heart of Munich but right next to the main train station. The room was a really good size and well furnished with a modern feel.
There was a frosted glass door on the bathroom so I got to see a bit more of my fellow travellers than I would have liked.
My family was inlove with the hot shower. We didnt wanna get out. We loved how close everything was. You can shop, go to the markets find food anywhere and also walk 3mins to the train station and take 2hr train to Salzburg Austria. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we return to Munich.
Nothing to complain about.
Location. Desk staff helpful and nice.
Location. Close to train station but in a sketchy seedy area of town with casinos and strip bars. Hotel carpet was stained room was dirty.
The basic room we stayed in was really disappointing. The entire floor and especially the room smelled like smoke which overwelmed everything else. The room was ok besides that, but the bathroom really wasn't great. Very old finishes and there were wires hanging out of our heater. I'm sure the comfort rooms are better as they have appartently been renovated. Pay the exstra for it!!!
The location was excellent to the areas and amenities of Munich that we sought to enjoy. I had my 6 children (Ages 10-26) with me and we slept comfortably in the 2 adjoining rooms provided. It was also a very short walking distance to the train station.
Hotel Dolomit was on a street with numerous gambling facilities and adult entertainment enterprises. While we did not experience any issues, it provded a "seedy" element to our 2 day stay.
Very centrally located. One room was okay. Breakfast okay. Suppose this is what you get for a hotel so centrally located at a really budget price. Good for overnight and exploring during daytime.
One of our rooms was appaling (620?). Unclean, smelt like smoke.
Close to the train station. Room was spacious.
Hotel was on a block with a strip club, a sex shop, and a slots casino. The carpet was badly stained. There were NO complimentary amenities: the only soap was a wall mounted pump that I couldn't figure out how to activate. There were NO cups, glass or plastic. While the check in clerk said there was only one charge for wifi per room (I specifically asked,) a second charge for wifi was added to the bill. The check out clerk removed it when contested. Their policy was that a wifi charge allowed three devices. They said we used 4, though the 4th device was not able to connect successfully.
Comfortable room is much nicer compared to regular room
Location was good, super close to train station and city centre. Hotel staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable.
You have to pay for wifi, I think it should be free for guests. Breakfast was too expensive for what you get: eggs, bread and salami. Not much more. They didn't really clean the room after the first night, but it wasn't bad.
Large spacious room with a kitchenette, decent-sized bathroom and big bed. Had a balcony and plenty of sitting space. Within 15 - 20 minute walk to Vatican. Close to public transportation.
We couldn't control the room's temperature. It was comfortable, but got a little cool during the night.
Good location to train station and right on edge of old town. Staff was friendly and helpful when asked questions.
Room was very warm. In the middle of December we slept with the window open because we couldn't get the heat to turn down.
Sketchy location, wifi didn't work, bathroom tub wouldn't drain, hard to communicate with the staff.
Really convenient location to the central railway station. Spacious and clean room. Friendly receptionist. Overall quite satisfied.
nice referbt rooms
one single beds in the double rooms
location-close to main train station and within walking distance to the city. near lidl and restaurants. friendly staff, i think his name is lars. he made us feel welcome and also let us check in early
have to pay for WiFi
The location is very good and the room is very clean. The staff was helpful and they give us all the necessary indications. There is the possibility to keep the luggage after check out without any cost. 10 minutes to the center and 3 minutes to the central station. We would definitely go back to this hotel!
The wi-fi was surcharged.
The smell in the room and bathroom
the room was fine, furniture was new. bathroom is a little small but it's not a big deal.
The room should be cleaned better. It wasn't done properly at all.
i like: a. the location of the Hotel, because near hauptbahnhoff. b. the value for money c. the room is quite comfort and good design, clean
no free wifi, must pay the wifi.
The hotel is very close to Karlsplatz and the main train station. It is much cheaper than other hotels in the same area. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are extremely small and not well kept. The sheets and towels were clean, but the walls were dirty and the ceiling had mold growing in the corner. The room and bathroom were very small for two people. The bed was also not very comfortable. I realize Munich is an expensive city, but for what we paid I was shocked at the size and condition of the room.
