Score from 226 reviews Wonderful
This is a delightful, indipendently-minded hotel run with efficiency and love. Some of the rooms are themed and mine had the story of the first local train excursion painted on the wall. I happen to love train travel and had arrived by train. That was sheer luck. But it was hard work and attention to detail that made the stay so pleasant, with a comfortable bed, excellent location and charming service with a sense of humour and lots of willing and enthusiastic advice about places to eat. Breakfast was perfectly pleasant, but I didn’t find it quite as exceptional as other guests. The fun theme of the Three Ravens is apparent throughout, from tiles on the wall and a little book of fairy stories to free biscuits in raven shape to sculptures and even a bag in the cupboard to carry all your shopping in. What was also sheer luck (I assume) was the raven that followed me to the railway station and watched over me until my train came in….
My room on the first floor was a bit hot on the first night, (the air conditioning is not built in, but a large box at floor level and perhaps not quite up to the unseasonably hot weather). The TV was a bit small and rather distant.
Location was great.
Have nothing negative to say.
Very clean hotel in central location. Excellent breakfasts with good variety. Room was spacious and well equiped bathroom/shower room.
Pillows very soft. Early morning traffic noise
Everything about the palce is lovely and and it is a great central location. Customer service excellent
The noise at night from the revellers until 4am apparently only a problem on a sat eve the night we stayed
Staff parked and collected our car from a nearby P-haus. Room was quiet and spotlessly clean. Hot and cold breakfast really good...omelettes on request!
Unusual wall decoration in room not to my taste, but that's just me ;-)
great location, friendly staff, designer furnishings, good and complete complimentary buffet breakfast, bidet in the bathroom.
We truly loved the place, and we are very thankful for all the help with our lost belongings! Nice wines, party hints and map drawing skills as well:)
Very pleasant staff, comfortable accommodations and great location. Easy access to underground and perfect location to walk in the old city with choice of restaurants. Definitely recommend.
Staff was great, helpful in restaurant and tour suggestions. Food was wonderful. Great location. Great room.
Can not think of a thing
Absolutely loved this hotel. Had a very nice stay, the room was incredible, great breakfast, and even some good beer recommendations!
Very friendly staff and centrally situated
Very friendly staff, quirky characterful rooms, I loved reading all the comments and quotes from other visitors from all over the world on the drawing panels on the walls. The breakfast was amazing, the most wonderful choose of food!
An absolute gem in a perfect location to explore Nurembergs Old Town. Staff is super accommodating, personal and very friendly. Our room had so much character we didn't want to leave. A must if you staying in Nuremberg.
Location was great. Easy walking to old city center. Good shopping and restaurants nearby. Wonderful made-to-order breakfast and coffee were excellent. Air-conditioning was good, as the weather was in high 80's.
Needs new carpeting.
Very friendly staff. We felt home immediately. Room very unique (very stylish) and spacious.
Noisy people in the street at night (after footballmatch), noisy airco
We loved that we were within walking distance of the main train station and to the Old Nuremberg sites to see. It was a clean, quiet hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing. We only wished to have time to stay longer!
The decor is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is outstanding, very different from an American breakfast but so good. The staff is wonderful. We wish we had stayed in Nuremberg several more days because of our experience.
Not a complaint about the hotel, but people should pack light to stay here. We foolishly dragged in all 5 of our bags for our 2 week vacation in Europe (despite only staying in this hotel for one night). The elevator is so small they wouldn't all fit. Again, not a complaint, but something I would want others to know.
Staff help; individuality; close to U Bahn;
Need darker curtains to cut out early morning light
So charming, located in the walled medieval city, great restaurants and shopping close by, and the sound of cathedral bells in the air.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was outstanding. The hotel is very central and within 10 minutes walk of everything in the old city. I particularly appreciated the complimentary glass of quality wine each evening. The art theme makes the hotel stand out as high quality but unpretentious. The hotel secure underground garage nearby was also an important feature for me. The option of freshly cooked eggs to order for breakfast in addition to the usual buffet is 5 star quality.
On the first night I left the window open and was woken in the early hours by loud voices from the side street below and again later by the early morning refuse collection truck. However with the window closed it was acceptably quiet.
The individuality of the hotel. It was quirky but in a good way. All the staff we encountered and particularly Ralf. He spent a long time with us advising us both about Nuremberg and our onward itinerary. The breakfasts.
I loved everything about this hotel. If you do not stay here when in Nuremberg, you are missing the best hotel stay of your life. Staff superb. Every have a hotel make reservations and when you get there, they shrug? When this staff makes reservations you are greeted as an honored guest and shown to your table immediately. Top notch in every way!!!
I liked it all!!!
The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are adorable and very clean. It was so charming to see the notes on the wall from people all over the world. The gentleman at the desk could not have been more helpful in guiding us as to what we should see in the city.
The noise from the street (a lot of drinking singing) lasted until 3am. Of course this is no fault of the hotel but we would recommend sleeping with the windows closed to reduce the noise.
The staff were incredibly helpful and my our stay so much better.
