The hotel was ideal for the train station, and bus links. Also the breakfast had lots of choice.

There were no coffee making facility, just a machine at reception.

The hotel was easy to get to from the airport & handy for the sights, shops & getting round Hamburg. The beds were comfortable & the breakfast varied & plentiful. The hotel was in a quiet street.

The room was quite small & as other people have noted had only one chair to sit on. We had booked a comfort double with a sofa bed so used that to sit on. The curtains were thin so not very good at keeping the light out at night. At 3 a.m. I thought it was time for breakfast!

The hotel is 100 metres away from the train station which is very convenient. The rooms aren't very big but were adequate. Good breakfast

    No air con

Location was great. Breakfast was good and the staff were in the most part hekpful.

Room 101. This should not be used as a room as the quality of sleep it provised is so poor they should not be allowed to charge money to stay there. It overlooks a shared rubbish bin area and as there is no air conditioning in the room you have to open the windows. With the windows open it is too noisy to get a goos nights sleep.

The breakfast buffet was well equipped with different juices, cereal, bread, jams, honeys, yoghurt, cheeses and cold meats.

The hotel is located right behind the main train station in Hamburg. It is kind if hidden in a street where several night clubs and brothels are located. Nobody tells you that upfront. The night clubs are open until 6am which causes lots of noise 'til the am. The hotel was not equipped with an air conditioning system so that you need to sleep with your windows open and cope with the noise from outside. The staff did not speak German well, parking facilities are public and incredible expensive. You can park your car at the curbside, however I would not recommend it due to the hotels' location. The room was not cleaned well.

Very convenient. Close to station, metro and shopping centre. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff. Comfortable bed.

No air conditioning in room so was a bit stuffy. Fine with window wide open.

When we arrived back after a day's sightseeing, we found our bedroom door open - nothing was stolen but we have a concern about security Our request for an extra pillow was met with a response that they only allow one pillow per guest We chose a hotel close to the railway station but on a side street so it wasn't too noisy. We didn't know about the late night bars across the road.

One section of the place has a steep staircase to the next floor up where you can reach an elevator. Staff was very accomodating to relocate us as one of us was handicapped. The breakfast was good.

Noisy if you are on the street side.

general location which was easy to navigate the rest of the city Breakfast was well presented & plentiful, couldn't fault the quality or service staff mostly very helpful, but as with every business there were exceptions.

although we booked a "small double" I expected something slightly larger, the toilet smelt stale, very like "wet carpet" the weekend was extremely warm, with no "air con" provided it made the small room claustrophobic.

The only positive thing is the location if u really need to get around easily...i guess the hotel owners know that perfectly and try to cash in on this point

This establishment calls itself hotel but for me any hotel is about hospitality and service. Here you won't find any of these features. First they make you pay for your whole stay at the check-in in a very unfriendly manner even if they have your credit card details but even a manager said either you pay or you can't go and take your room..absolutely rude, lacking any trust towards the clients they live on. In the elevator you will find a poster announcing that the majority of guests take their breakfast between 8:30 and 9:30 and you are invited not to plan your breakfast in that time...indeed the breakfast room is narrow, small with cheap decoration (one lamp was even hanging with its cables there on the wall) and instead of extending the breakfast room, this way is the best to dissuade guests enjoying a good start into the day. For a 3-star-hotel breakfast is ok but the only fresh fruit is apple, the rest is just canned fruit, there is no fresh milk, no real fruit juice just some concentrated nectare...the lift was built in 1951, even if modernised in 1990...up to 3 guests can be crammed there in, with luggages two...with that hospitality and service i really wonder how they can expect a guest to use their sauna for 8 Euro or to open a bottle of water in the room for 4 the room no real double bed just two matrasses put together, the curtain is dirty and even torn at a certain point, the radiator in the bath is already having rust even if clean...insulation is practically non existant so u can easily hear your neighbours getting back to their room after an entertaining night out.... so all in all i guess people are advised to plan to put some 20-30 Euro more on the table for one night and go and find a place where u are treated as a guest...for me that was the worst 'hotel' experience ever...
