The location is good. The room was adequate, good privacy and the shared bathroom was ok and used by not so many people.

the rooms are direct to the main street (it verz laut if zou open the window). The rooms are not clean. However, the bed is clean.

Problems during check in, we have made booking for triple room, but on first stage the staff put us in a small single room.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was big considering the cheap price. The central sights and shops were only 10 minutes walk.

The street outside was really noisy with trams and traffic. Earplugs recommended!

I think hotel Espenlaub was great value for the money. I had a room with shared bathroom that was right on the other side of the corridor. So if you want to pay as little as possible for your room, I warmly recommend this option. Room was clean, the towels were changed every day and the breakfast was decent, so I have no bad word about the Hotel. If you are looking for cheap stay near the city center, this is your spot.

The room I had was on the first floor and next to street, so it was bit noisy. Maybe closing the windows would have helped, but the hot weather made that quite poor alternative. Otherwise, no problema.
