Grand Hotel Esplanade Berlin  

Tilavat, erittäin siistit huoneet.

Kaikki ylimääräinen maksaa ja reilusti. Esim. Pöydälle "tarjolle jätetty" vesipullo 6 euroa ja hotellin saunan käyttäminen 9 euroa.

Siisti, henkilökunta kohteliaita ja ystävällisiä.

Lähimmälle metro asemalle aika pitkä kävelymatka. Huoneessa vesipullo 6€! Uima-allas oli hotellivieraille ilmainen, mutta sauna maksoi 9€.

Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Katettu terassibaari aivan ihastuttava. Taksi asema hotelin edessä, erittäin kätevää.Myös bussiyhteydet eri puolelle Berliiniä hyvät.

Asuimme hotellissa perjantai aamusta maanantai iltaan pääsiäisenä.Berliinissä oli erittäin lämmin ja hotellin ilmastointi ei toiminut. Aika tuskallista ja hyvitykseksi saimme 1 drinkin. 4-5 tähden hotelli?!!

Hotelli oli aivan mahtava, ja vielä kun maksoin 79euroa/yö oli tämä löytö!Palvelu hotellissa erinomainen,avulias henkilökunta ja siivous huippuluokkaa.Hotelli sijainti ok, 10 min kävely u-bahnista ja 200 m bussipysäkillä josta voit ottaa nr 100 bussin joka vie sinut esim Alexander platsille. Hyviä ravintoloita lähettyvillä (15 min kävely).Ainut miinus oli että huoneemme oli aika kuuma, toki oli jokin helle-aalto Berliinissä juuri pääsiäisenä. Myös aamiainen kallis joten söimme aamiaista kahviloissa. Huoneemme oli 5 kerroksessa ja näkymät kaupungille.Näkymät olivat ihan ok, toki he tarjosivat vastaanotoossa meille river-näkymän 10 euroa/yö extrahintaan. Suosittelen lämpimästi ja aion palata takaisin

Penthouse-huoneisto oli erittäin kodikas ja avara, ei vähiten koko huoneen levyisen terassin ansiosta, josta oli talvikelilläkin iloa.

Eipä juuri. Lämmitys ehkä juuri ja juuri riittävä kun ulkona yöllä tositakymmentä astetta pakkasta.

When you've been walking around in Berlin all day, it was great coming home to a luxurious kingsize bed and a nice view over the city. Very quiet and comfortable!

Not much to complain about - maybe that the receptionist who serviced us when we checked out, spoke really poor English and had a hard time understanding our question - something you wouldn't expect from the staff at a 5-star hotel. Otherwise a very nice hotel, although more geared towards/suitable for business people than a couple "on retreat from the daily life".

The hotel was clean, the bed was not comfortable for a couple, two mattress and two separate quilts , the food was good but the assortment was very limited , for new year party eve also very very limited assortments and the worst self service for a price 120 eur for two of us

Upon we arrived there the reception clerk ask to made copy on my credit card and told me that the payment will be on the check out moment. The fee agreed was 636 eur for 4 nights Within 5 minutes I got a message from my bank that successfully the bank proceed from my account a payment with Hotel Esplanade as beneficiary but not for the amount agreed, it was done for 836 eur or 200 eur more I back to the reception meaning that is was a mistake, not only for the amount but also for a payment done His answer was : it is our policy for a guest nor resident in eu!!!!!!! ON fist January we call them from center to call a taxi for us (and to charge us for this service) because was not possible to find a taxi and back to the hotel , the girl answer to me that their duty are to take care only inside the hotel The last is that in the invoice they have charged telephone use form the room, which is not true, we never use the telephone room

Location perfect for the Berlin Marathon. Excellent breakfast, especially on day of marathon.

The bed were so comfortable. We slept great. The staff was very friendly.

The food at the hotel is a bit expensive.

Everything was excellent

All are perfect in this hotel, but the bed is better that I can imagine.

They should change the dirty towers and they can't hold on money for my credit card more than we make the reservation without told me because they won't to be sure for the mini bar things. Bad communication.

I think it was strange that my name not was at the booking, only my husbands, even I made the reservation.
