Everything was perfect, location, hotel stuff, rooms was spacious and clean and very comfortable, definitely one of the best hotels we ever stayed. The value price/comfort was just amazing. Breakfast in excelent quality. We enjoyed the stay very much. Dont hesitate to book, you wont be disepointed.

The bar cocktail

The location is ideal if you like to walk around the city, by walking along the river in front of the hotel you're about 10-15 minutes away from Neue Galerie, Potsdamer Platz, Berliner Philarmonie, ... Also not far from the U-Bahn station Nollendorfplatz. The breakfast buffet is what we can expect, the time range was also very comfortable (till noon, great if you came back from a party early in the morning)

For such a high standard hotel, I found very sad that I needed to pay for the WiFi internet, also could connect multiple devices (iPad, iPhone) with the same account, needed to pay once for each device ... bad. The sauna and hammam was also not included in our room rate (come on, you can access the pool but not the sauna, how is that ?) fortunately, the woman here let us go.

We stayed for 3nights in January for my husband 40th birthday . It was fantastic loved every minute , the food is gorgeous the staff treated us like family definitely will go back .

The hotel was clean, the bed was not comfortable for a couple, two mattress and two separate quilts , the food was good but the assortment was very limited , for new year party eve also very very limited assortments and the worst self service for a price 120 eur for two of us

Upon we arrived there the reception clerk ask to made copy on my credit card and told me that the payment will be on the check out moment. The fee agreed was 636 eur for 4 nights Within 5 minutes I got a message from my bank that successfully the bank proceed from my account a payment with Hotel Esplanade as beneficiary but not for the amount agreed, it was done for 836 eur or 200 eur more I back to the reception meaning that is was a mistake, not only for the amount but also for a payment done His answer was : it is our policy for a guest nor resident in eu!!!!!!! ON fist January we call them from center to call a taxi for us (and to charge us for this service) because was not possible to find a taxi and back to the hotel , the girl answer to me that their duty are to take care only inside the hotel The last is that in the invoice they have charged telephone use form the room, which is not true, we never use the telephone room

Besides the large, well designed and comfortable rooms, staff care and handling of reguests was the best I have seen anywhere.

A coffee machine in the room would be handy

Quiet yet central location, interesting hotel design.

Everything is charged extra, especially internet which is very pricey.

Located in a quiet area with very good public transport links to anywhere in Berlin. All the major attractions are within minuets of the Hotel and buses/trains run very frequently throughout the night! Rooms are very clean & comfortable and the hotel staff are very friendly & helpful.

Lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the cost of sky T.V.

The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood, near the Tiergarten park. Not exactly in the center but it is very close to the bus station and 8 minutes walk from the subway. The room was excellent. It was nicely designed and had a really big and comfortable bed. It was also very quiet. We slept very well. The bathroom was also large and had all necessarily facilities, including bath robes and bath salts which for me is a nice extra value.

Today almost every hotel has free Wi-Fi so it seems a bit strange that a 5 stars hotel doesn't provide it and charges 6 euro for one hour!
