Before booking this city centre hotel, I looked at several reviews and decided to ignore the negative comments and go ahead and book (with my fingers crossed!) - primarily because it appeared to represent good comparative value. My wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable 3 nights and found it ideally situated for the city centre, Xmas markets. The main rail station and underground network was 5-6mins walk away. We had a quiet, warm and clean room and the bathroom had been recently refurbished to a very high standard. There was always plenty of hot water. Breakfast was typically 'continental' and offered a wide choice. Room furnishings were basic but adequate. Asking for extra pillows and an additional chair was not a problem. The distinct smell of stale cigarette smoke throughout. |

simple, quiet, in the very center of Munich. The service is efficient. An ideal stay for a business step over or a city tour. IT wireless access should be possible in the rooms and not only in the lobby |

Great location- short walk to Oktoberfest. The complimentary breakfast was better than I had expected. Rooms/bathrooms were small and crammed. Hotel staff was generally not very friendly or hospitable. |

The Location was great for Oktoberfest. The public areas were clean and inviting. The walls and carpet need to be updated, there were stains and rips. The bathroom was old and dirty. |

hotel is close to the train station, breakfast is ok, rooms were clean, all good for medium class hotel. Room key also opens the main gate. bathroom was old style but was very clean. |

Conveniently located, reasonably priced. Free wi-fi a plus, even if had to be used in lobby. There was no place to plug in the kettle for coffee-making except on the floor. |

Location, Location, Location - this is the biggest benefit of the hotel. The staff was nice and the breakfast was really great. The room was clean. There is a nice church in the neighborhood. The Central Railway station (Hauptbahnhof) is in a walking distance (5-7 min). Marien Platz is 15 min walking distance away. The hotel is quite old one. We were unpleasantly surprised that the additional bed for baby costs 15 Eur. A lot of stairs, for stroller, to reach the breakfast area. |

comfortable Bed, decent Breakfast, no smoking and relatively large room, near the city center not too expensive. Friendly and proactive staff. Parking place for 11 €/day, in the basement, entrance trough a car lift (max 2500Kg). The bar of the Hotel is permanently close, that bring additional quiet. Nearby plenty of bars. No curfew. Minibar with 2x 0. Fire escape on the 4th floor: trough a narrow stair from the terrace, would be hard for old people, disabled person and small children to escape in case of fire! Bathroom: Vent didn't work, tiles falling from the wall, curtain not well fixed on the wall (extensible rod too short for more than 2 mt /6 ft distance!). several mold spots on the wall and curtain in the toilet. |

Ho apprezzato la cortesia del personale, i piumini molto grandi e caldi e la vista sulla chiesa di St. Paul. La colazione della domenica mattina era abbastanza varia, ma gli altri giorni sono sparite brioches, panini con i semi e uova....c'erano solo i soliti yogurt e cereali, rosette e marmellaine. La camera numero 1 è un pò rumorosa a causa dell'elevatore del garage a fianco, ma nn è spesso in funzione! |

Das Hotel ist zental gelegen und trotzdem ziemlich ruhig. Kann bei Anreise mit der Bahn in 10 Minuten zu Fuss oder mit der U-Bahn erreicht werden. Auch das Stadtzenrum ist rasch erreichbar. |

Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück, sehr sauberes Bad und Zimmer. Es ist sehr laut! Vor allem nachts hört man alle Schritte auf den oberen Etagen. Duscht jemand im oberen Stock, so hört man richtig laut das Geräusch des laufenden Wassers. Macht jemand in den Nachbarzimmern die Tür zu, scheppert die eigene Zimmertür sehr laut! |
