Steigenberger Hotel Frankfurt City  

Stayed at this hotel for trade fair booked it night before stay. Pleasantly surprised. Staff excellent English superb very helpful. Bar and waitress staff could not fault. Breakfast good and had no complaints with the restaurant for dinner. Room clean spacious bed good. Only one negative comment no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Other than that had a very good 3 night stay. Would use again. Look forward to visiting again as the hotel was due to close in two days for 6 months for refurbishment.

Very expensive.

Great location for central frankfurt and the christmas market. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were all very helpful.

Nice quiet hotel

Nearer 3 star to 4 star. Dark rooms with very little luxury. Some rooms very small (for alleged Superior Double)

Easy walking distance to city. Close to river.

Floor above my room was used for conferences, so there were hours of thumping some afternoons into the evenings as seats were arranged and rooms set up. smell from smoking rooms pervades all common areas of the hotel, especially elevator lobbies. wi fi signal is unreliable and having to get a new password every then hours is very inconvenient for long term guests like myself. old tube television and sparse, old furnishing. Only one pillow on the double bed. chair at writing desk stained with something unmentionable. bathroom towels and washing liquids etc very basic. the all purpose soap dispenser on the shower wall was NOT topped up at all during my stay as far as I could tell. it had run dry by the end of the week

Good location

The internet wireless did not work with my Apple Computer. These days Apple devices are very common and the staff did not make any attempt to contact their technical support to help. The equipment in the Gym was basic and could do with some investment. There is certainly plenty of space available.

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. I checked out after 1 night, although I had made the reservation for 3 nights and did not get re-imbursed for the other 2 nights, went to Westin Grand instead. No service whatsoever, nobody to help with luggage, no room service, etc. Bathrooms are tiny, only shower, sink is in the room. TV with maybe 20 channels, only German ones

I have stayed one day. Everything was ok!

I liked the room, breackfast, services.
