Hotel Garni Brugger is a family hotel. In this case it means you get professional service combined with a personal touch. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is very good. Fresh products, good coffee and enough variety. We used the Sauna facilities; not comparable with a real Spa, but much better than the average Spa many big hotels offer. The hotel is situated in a beautiful old town.

Good location at edge of entry to island and main town. Very friendly and helpful owner who spoke very good english. Good breakfast with good choice. Comfortable and quiet location. Owners deserve to do well - one of the first hotels in germany that they made us feel like valued guests although we only stayed 2 days. Couldnt get wifi in room but owner allowed us to use dining room to use computer - this was only because our mini laptop didnt take the lan cable that was provided. Lots of memorabilia around but very homely.

Firstly, the receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Secondly, the hotel is in very good location. The old town of Lindau is very small but it is what worth visiting. and the hotel is located at the old town. It is within 10 mins walking distance from the Lindau central station. Thirdly, it is also a very comfort hotel, room is clean and bright. it is a family run hotel so it makes us feel like home.

This a pleasent enough hotel and very clean. Breakfast was quite plain but there was plenty of it. Although it was a bit expensive compared to what you would normally expect to pay for a hotel of this type it is probably competitve for Lindau.

The rooms were roomy and spacious. The staff friendly and helpful and the location ideal for exploring Lindau Isle and the surrounding areas.Easy access and good parking off island. Breakfast was wholesome and tasty and filling. The hotel made our experinece at Lindau all the more enjoyable.

Charming hotel, lovely breakfast room and great breakfast. Staff was helpful and spoke some English. Other guests were quite pleasant. God location for easy walking but the parking was awkward. Parking across the bridge was generally not a good idea, especially in a pouring rain storm.

The staff were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful. The Family Room was very large and much bigger than we might have expected. The breakfast offered was also top rate. The location was perfect and all the attractions of Lindau island were only a short walk away. Overall we had a great stay at the Hotel Garni Brugger and for a 3 star property couldn't have asked for much more. It was only a small issue and is not something that would typically be expected of a 3 star property, but our stay coincided with a heatwave in that part of Germany. With no air conditioning in the room it therefore made for a warm few nights. That said the hotel went out of their way to provide us with 2 fans which helped the children sleep, so it was not a major problem ultimately.

We received a friendly, personal service from the lovely staff and felt really well cared for. The location was wonderful and the breakfast was delicious. We would recommend the spacious quad room for families.

The couple (owners?) who ran reception and the hotel were excellent--friendly and helpful. Wonderful location and very quiet room. We had a light and satisfying breakfast (which was good quality) but it wasn't clear whether other items were included and available a la carte, such as eggs.

enough space for 4 persons in a quad room, 2.5 euro parking fee at a public carpark crossing the bridge. Remember to get back the deposit for the hotel parking card.
