Hotel Garni Reulein  

Very disappointed with this hotel, the room which was described as having a view of the lake and the mountains had a fantastic view of a large house built in front of the hotel. Yes, we could see the lake if we peered round the corner of our balcony and the mountain tops could be seen over the top of the house roof but this was clearly stretching the truth. The room was very dated and in need of a good clean and refurbishment. Also note, if staying here during the summer, there is no air conditioning and our room was very hot. Good breakfast in a pleasant breakfast room Definitely not worth the money. Pay the extra and stay down by the lake!

The staff were superb, Ena teh receptionit waited for us to arrive even though we were 3 hours late, she organised a Taxi to take us for dinner as all places were closed in the vicinity, The staff in nthe morning were equally efficent, friendly and very helpfull. The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms were very comofrtable in a traditional style and were as described in the website. The lcoation was good at 5 minute from the main areas and in a quiet residential area overlooking the lake I would be happy to reccomend this hotel

The direction to the hotel were adequate but perhaps needs a bit more work to make it easier to find late at night.

Hotel confortable sur les hauteurs de Lindau. Calme assuré.

La vue annoncée depuis le balcon de la chambre, sur le Bodensee, est particulièrement limitée !

Prima Frühstück; sehr nette und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiterinnen! Guter Ausblick auf den Bodensee und die nähere Umgebung.

Der Standart der Räumlichkeiten rechtfertigt nicht den Zimmerpreis.

Das Hotel macht generell ein aparter, wenn auch eher sachlichen Eindruck, und liegt am Hang in einer angenehmen Wohngegend. Das große Zimmer war zwar im Untergeschoss, aber weil das Hotel am Hang gebaut ist, hatte es eine schöne Terrasse zum Garten hin, anstatt Balkon, alles in allem angenehm geräumig. Ein gute und reichhaltiges Frühstucksbuffet. Charmantes Personal.

Das ansonsten nette, wenn auch nicht ganz preiswerte, Hotel hat auch ein Paar negative Details. Bei voller Belegung hat das Hotel zu wenige Parkplätze, wer zu spät kommt muss in den umliegenden Strassen parken. Ditto Frühstucksplätze, bei voller Belegung kann's eng werden. Kaffee und Tee gab's aber keine Maschine für Cappuccino. Im Badezimmer war mal keine neuen Dusch-Gel oder Shampoo Tütchen, sondern noch die aufgerissenen vom Vortag liegengeblieben, o.k. es kann mal passieren.

Sehr schöne Seesicht und sehr freundliches Personal! Sauber. WLAN auf jeden Stock. Schöner kleiner Frühstücksraum.

Etwas mehr Trittschalldämmung wäre nicht von Nachteil.
