Our "Hotel Hasselkuß" located in the quiet south of Essen has modern equipped rooms. This 3-stars hotel is located in a quiet area yet is also centrally situated. In our restaurant we serve German food and offer some space to relax.
Convenient bus connections directly from the hotel to the exhibition and down town.

There is no capacity for cots in the room.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

After a pleasant evening in our restaurant with home-style cuisine or a cosy one in our TV room, we await you with a comprehensive breakfast buffet in the morning.

Area information

Our family-run hotel in a quiet but central location is situated only 10 minutes from the Essen fairgrounds. It takes about 15 minutes by car to reach the city centre with its music hall 'Colloseum', Las Vegas Show 'Stars in Concert', Grillo theatre, Folkwang museum and 'Zeche Zollverein'.
Directly in front of our hotel there is the lake Baldeneysee. Cyclists will enjoy the beautiful cycle track and hiking trail known as 'Kaiserroute'. Relax after a busy day walking around the lake.

Important information

Please note that on Saturdays and Sundays, check-in is only possible until 18:00.

The hotel restaurant will be closed from 26 June 2008 to 10 August 2008.

Slechts één nacht verbleven maar hebben daar zeer goed geslapend en genoten van een zeer goed ontbijtbufet. Het hotel was volzet,maar toch was er stilte. Moet wel een prachtige omgeving zijn in de zomer. De gasten beoordeling vind ik niet altijd juist. Indien men geen viersterren hotel kiest dan moet men ook daar niet mede gaan vergelijken
