it's clean and comfortable
the room is realy small for 3 person
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast (10 euros per person) was good. The hotel is at the tram terminus so that makes for an easy trip into the city centre and back.
The hotel is very clean, very well organized, has a nice restaurant popular with the locals, the management is quite accomodating (unlike many other properties in germany). The breakfast is very good, wonderful tea, honey, salmon, meat cut, brown bread, pastries, scramble eggs and half boiled, cheese, although some stuff are not too fresh (some cakes and fruit). The place is far from city centre but a tram runs from there itself to the main square, if u have a car or you dont mind the travel time is good. The staff is really nice and helpful, although at times finds it hard to go beyond the expected. This is very common in Northern Europe as compared to other countries, so be prepared for it if used to travel in Asia/southern Europe/middle East.
There is almost no common space. The restaurant is closed till6 pm, and no other place to go apart from your room. Also, we were left out one night in the weekend, and without a working phone we could have spent the night in the car..
Free parking. Nice location. Train goes right past hotel. Great restaurant/room service. Courteous staff. Well lit night entrance. Pretty hotel.
Curtains didn't close all the way. WiFi is not complimentary. Breakfast is not complimentary. No mini bar in room for cold drinks. No coffee maker in room. No complimentary shampoo, lotion. Only 2 small towels to use over and over. I put used towels on floor, maid would hang used towels back on heater. Can't check out before 0800.
A very nice, really clean and comfortable hotel. The location is very convenient to the old city by tram, that runs on the street in front of the hotel. The staff really polite and helpful. We really enjoyed the hotel restaurant, which serves really great food at good prices. Internet worked great, with no problems. Generally, for my taste, a great hotel to stay in Heidelberg.
This really easy a well run family hotel that is spotlessly clean it is a little bit out from the town center 6kms but there is very good public transport right outside the hotel there is also a couple of pubs within a 5/10 min walk from the hotel although i think we will have to take up smoking again
The staff members were very freindly.
I did not like the bathroom.
Only the rich breakfast
Small room Stink room Limited internet (500MB) Noisy room (trams outside)
No food available in the evening. No restaurants nearby. No tea or coffee available on site. Had to wait for receptionist in the morning while she had her breakfast. Staff not particularly interested in the guests.
It is really clean, silent and the staff is really courteous and friendly. The parking is big enough and free.
It was extremity hot in the room and the completely opened window didn't help. The restaurant (and even bar) works till 22:00 and there is nothing more close to the hotel. There is no free internet - you must pay 2euro per 500Mb which is ridiculous, impossible to work.. or even simply watch online tv. Breakfast is not included into the room price and overall the one night stay become very expensive.
Free parking place, very quite area, the rooms and the environment of the hotel are very clean. Decoration of the hotel is nice. And some of reception people are very helpful.
The wifi and breakfast is not included in price. Triple room is little bit small.
Excellent for everything! If you drive, this is the must stay hotel. We went there as honeymonth and was upgraded to the penthouse which is huge with separated floor for bedroom and an open kitchen. The staff are very friendly and there is a supermarket 5 min away. Very clean and quiet location. Way better than staying inside the city.
If you don't drive, the place is a bit far away from the old town but the tram stops at the hotel and the schedule is very frequent.
Sebastian our concierge was very helpful and considerate. It was an ideal way to start our trip
Free parking, easy access to tram downtown, easy access off autobahn, friendly, helpful staff, great breakfast.
paying for wifi, cost of breakfast, nothing to see within walking distance of Hotel - had to take tram or car downtown.
Close to good transport into to Heidelberg.
A little difficult to find.
This hotel is situated in a good location very close to the tram service which would take you into Heidelberg itself in around 15 minutes. The room was clean, and the breakfasts outstanding, with plenty of choice and more than enough to satisfy even the largest of appetites.
There was absolutely no provision of facilities for tea and coffee making. When we arrived there were two bottles of water in the room, but no attempt was made to replenish these even though there were two of us and we stayed for two nights. Our second day was a Sunday and we went out and about only to get drenched when the heavens opened up. We went back to the hotel to change, but with the restaurant closed and nothing to do, eat or drink in the hotel, we had no alternative but to chance the weather again and go back out. As one of the more expensive locations we stayed, more attention to the needs of their guests would have been appreciated.
Very good hotel with ample parking in a quiet location. staff very helpful, good transport links into town from right outside the hotel.
Having to leave.
Staff was friendly, helpful. Dinner in restaurant was very good
Too far away from main part of town. And the web site a bit deceiving in that regard. Plus, no name on the main road/highway to identify it and thus extended drivng, "in Circles" until person in another nearby hotel was able to give more specific direction
Nice they have a good coffee machine in the room.
Friendly staff Good breakfast Lovely and clean would stay again but only if I have my own transport
No toiletries provided Need your own transport to get around. Not informed of bank holiday during our stay Not informed of facilities available so didn't use any or what sites to see
Great location if you drive. Very close to tram stop to go to the centre.
Traditional hotel with nice restaurant Clean rooms and nice bathroom good access on the tram Free parking
You had to pay for WiFi. Not much but I think that it should be included as it always appears rather petty when it is not. They would be better putting it in the price.
Staff very friendly and helpful Very easy to get on train to old city
Great breakfast buffet and good parking
Location was a little out of Heidelberg but close enough
Easy to find, free parking and very close to tram to go into Heidelberg. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant was very good with a large selection of regional favourites and a good choice of wines.
The room was a bit cramped -especially as there were 3 adults (our 20yr old daughter was travelling with us) and the trams were a bit noisy running our window as we were on the ground floor at the front.
