Clean, quiet and cheap What they offer as internet access is a prehistoric connection that doesn't work, besides they will not allow you to check your mail, even in urgent situation, on their own computer, as a matter of fact the German- speaking landlady quite unpleasant about it.

Very comfortable beds - slept so well. Rooms are a good size and very clean. Breakfast is typical Continental style and a very adequate start to the day. Our room was on the ground floor so had no balcony. I would definitely return. Our bathroom had a frosted glass sliding door which meant you could see the person who was using the toilet - quite odd. I am not sure if this is the case for all rooms but if you do not know your travelling partner well it could be quite an awkward experience! The walk into Tubingen involves walking down quite a steep hill of steps and path so if you are a little uneasy on your feet you may need to take a taxi or the bus.

The staff was very helpful, the rooms perfectly clean and nicely appointed. Thelocation was convenientto the University and the old town area, with excellent bus service close by. The hotel desk was closed from about 7 P.M. through the night, which made for some inconvenience.

The hotel staff was quite friendly and helpful, even when we were using our less than good German. We enjoyed the breakfasts, which were plentiful. The bathroom was large for a European hotel.

Ruhige Lage, oberhalb der Altstadt Obwohl Internetzugang angeboten wird, bekam ich ein Zimmer mit einem aufklappbaren Sekretär. Konkret konnte ich daran nur ich verkrümmter Haltung arbeiten. Datenkabel war sehr kurz. Anschlußstelle neben der Nachtkonsole. Daher war es nur möglich, auf der Bettkante sitzend U. das Laptop auf der herabgeklappten schrägen Sekretärklappe so zu positionieren, dass es mit einer Hand festgehalten werden muss. Für Arbeit mit der Maus war kein Platz mehr. Zudem versperrte diese erzwungene Arbeitsposition den Zugang zum Bad. Ich habe deshalb nachgefragt, ob ich ein anderes Zimmer mit Schreibtisch erhalten kann. Darauf erhielt ich die Antwort, dass das nicht möglich sei, weil ich im internet gebucht hätte. Meiner Einschätzung nach war das Hotel keineswegs ausgebucht. Es war Ferienzeit U. zudem Wochenende - damit keine Handwerker vor Ort. Ferner fand ich es nicht gut, dass meine Kühlprodukte nicht zur kurzfristigen Aufbewahrung in den hoteleigenen Kühlschrank gelegt werden konnten. Ich sollte das im Auto deponieren! Keine gute Idee, wenn draußen die Sonne scheint. Damit kommen auch Kühlakkus nicht lange klar.

Der Haushund! Frühstücksbüffet war miserabel und lieblos. Brot war alt, keine Auswahl, Kaffee war schlecht und kalt. Matratzen schlecht, Zudecke zu warm für die Jahreszeit. Luftundurchlässige Unterlage.

Sehr nettes Personal. Internet kostenlos. Gute Busanbindung nach Tübingen. Sehr sauberes Haus. Kleines Frühstücksbufett. Zimmer sehr klein. Nur 10 Fernsehprogramme. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht.

Unkomplizierte Abwicklung. Auch Spätanreise ist möglich. Kostenloser Parkplatz. üBer Treppen kann man zufuß in die Innenstadt gelangen (ca. 10 bis 15 Min.). Die Matratze ist recht hart. Mein partner ist jedoch gut damit zurechtgekommen.

Endlich mal ein Hotelbett, in dem ich keine Rückenschmerzen bekommen habe! Die gekochten Eier zum Frühstück waren eindeutig zu weich, obwohl ich am zweiten Tag ein mittelhartes Ei bestellt hatte.
