Hotel AGON Lichtburg am Kurfürstendamm  

Good location. Rooms clean ideal ideal for u stations near to shops and bars. Nice coffee shop next door.Easy to get to and fro the airport.

Reception not very helpful.

Hotel staff are very nice. Room is spacious enough and the neighbourhood is quite nice. Several good places for restaurant, cafe are closeby. Metro stop is quite easy to reach.

Early check-in before 2pm was refused badly. Hotel facility is very poor with only one restaurant for breakfast. The hotel looks quite ugly.

The building and lift look quite old, although the room looks ok and it is very big

* The price is reasonable, good value for money. * Free Wifi * Friendly staff * While cleanliness is not top notch as to German standard, for guests from other countries it's quite good :-) * Good location in Berlin West part. An U-Bahn station is only 5 min walk away. There are plenty shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and drugstores around the Adenauerplatz.

* In my double room there is no double bed, it's two twin beds placed near to each other * There are only 2 wall outlets in the room, so if you brings a lot of gadgets, remember to bring addtional power outlets with you.

Hotel is near the main western strasse Kurfurstendamm.

The proximity of two U-bahn stations, There were plenty of free parking places on the street so no need to pay for parking. The staff at the reception are very polite.The 1h free internet terminal is enough if you just need a quick access to the internet. Very clean room - well done.

The breakfast costs 8 euro per person while I could pay less than 5 next to the hotel in an excellent coffee shop. Although there was a free internet terminal at the reception the 9 euro cost per day for room internet I think is expensive.

Historisches Gebäude mit Charm.

Die Lage war gut. - Die Hilfsbereitschaft damit man sich im Viertel auskennt war, nach der anfänglich typischen Berliner Zurückhaltung, dann doch sehr präsent. - Rezeption 24h besetzt. - Zimmer (16) hatte neue Ikea Möbel und einen Hochmodernen Fernseher.

Badezimmer eher alt. - Duschvorhang unten leicht schimmlig. - Duschvorhangs- halterung war ziemlich versifft, kreisförmig angeordnet und daher war unangenehmer Kontakt zur Haut beim Duschen unvermeidbar. - In der Nacht traf ich dann als Höhepunkt noch einen kleinen Silberfisch an... Von 2 Handtüchern, obwohl am Boden, wurde keins getauscht. Eins wurde einfach wieder aufgehängt, das andere (Badematte) wurde mitgenommen und nicht ersetzt. Zimmer zwar neu möbliert, aber alter Teppich, keine Minibar (obwohl Getränkeliste da). Kostenloses WLAN nicht vorhanden bzw. nicht nutzbar. Ich bin ein erfahrener Hotelgast und ein noch erfahrener PC-Crack. Dennoch war laut Rezeption mein Laptop schuld... Des Rätsels Lösung habe ich dann doch noch gefunden: WLAN ist anscheinend nur in der Nähe bzw. im Frühstücksraum nutzbar... Liebe Leute vom Agon: Es gibt noch viel zu tun. --- Ihr habt so eine schöne Lage, verderbt sie euch doch nicht. - Lage ist halt nicht alles, wenn der Rest nicht stimmt.

Schön, ruhig, freundliches Personal, recht grosser Parkplatz, Zimmer sehr sauber, Wlan kostenlos!!!

Leider war es nicht möglich, das kostenlose WLAN zu benutzen da infolge einer kürzlich vorgenommen Umstellung des Wlan's kein Zugang möglich war. Versuche der Hotel-MA den IT-Dienstleister zwecks Reparatur des Wlan's zu aktivieren verliefen erfolglos. Ich kann das Hotel, trotz Wlan wie beschrieben, weiter empfehlen und würde das Hotel auch nochmals buchen.
