Hotel Mercedes/Centrum  

Det låg väldigt centralt och det var lagom stort. Det fanns egentligen inget att klaga på, vi skulle träffa vänner och behövde någonstans att bo.

Läget var väldigt bra.Priset var också bra.Trevlig personal.Rummet var stort och bra.Frukosten helt okej .Vi är mycket nöjda.

Det fanns hiss, som i hotellbeskrivningen, men inte förrän man gått upp 20 trappsteg.Informatio0nen borde ändras

Location is a few minutes from Central station, though it is located in the area of sex shops, casino, with arabic and black people. Everywhere is clean (in the room, in the shower room, in public areas, in a dinning room). Good breakfast (two kinds of juice, tea, koffee, boiled eggs, three kinds of musli, milk, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese, salami, sausage), cleanness on the tables. There is a safe in the room. Soft, pleasant bed, room interior is nice. Good value for money (about 55€ for two persons per night, with breakfast)!

It was very noisy to stay with opened windows because windows faced the street, though we asked to provide a room in a quite place. With closed windows it was a bit stuffy in a room with no ventilation. A shower room is a bit tight. Squeaky wardrobes, though clean. There is a lift, though you have to go up on foot to reach the first floor (on the zero floor with reception there are only stairs to the first floor) You have to return the key of your room when you go out from the hotel. For one night it is a very good budget option!

Price. Central location.

Staff wasn't very friendly. Didn't smile and hardly talked, just pointed and gruntled the short words that where necessary to show me where to go and answer my questions. The hotel was located in a neighbourhood with a lot of sex shops an sex bars, and there were prostitutes in the streets. That didn't bother me much, but some probably don't like it.

Comfortable room. Very good breakfast.

The bathroom is not well ventilated. There is mold on the bathroom ceiling.

The staff are very polite and understanding, and helpfull to the customers. The breakfast was good and looked very clean and hyginic and service was excellent. The rooms are clean and bathroom is fine and nice.

The only problem was the cusions in the hotel beds. They are too big and very difficult to bend and sleep on them, and they may give you shoulder and headache.

Location and the en suite was good

Unfriendly staff, room was hot as no a/c, the room was in poor condition, beds were uncomfortable.

The breakfast was (only just) acceptable. That is the only good thing I can find to say about this dreadful hotel.

Where to start? This hotel was the worst one I have ever stayed in. It was awful because 1. The location in the sleazy red light district by the station is terrible and very noisy all night long. 2. The hotel is ugly, uncomfortable and cuts every corner possible in the interests of maximising profits. 3. The so called non smoking room stank of smoke and there was a smoking area right outside the door of the room, meaning that smoke drifted into the room the whole time. 4. The bathroom was tiny, inadequate and not very clean. The towels were too small to be of any use, and were ancient and worn out. 5. The paintwork in the room was peeling, dirty and depressing. 6. The carpet was ancient, dirty and smelled terrible. 7. The staff were miserable and unhelpful. 8. There was a charge for use of the room safe which was unacceptable 9. The lighting was very poor and not sufficient for reading at night. 10. The noise from the street was very loud and constant. 11. the wardrobe contained three nasty wire hangers and nothing else. 12. Above all the hotel had the nerve to charge nearly £100 per night for the double room. It was exceptionally poor value for money.

Location

The key to my door did not work.It was locked and unlocked via the receptionist. I had to call reception to ask them to let me out in the morning. Not only is this a death trap, it's very inconvenient and I dont reccomend anyone to stay there. Parking was also controled by very stupid system which means you will have to go through some 10-15 mins of one way system just to return the key to the garage.

Sauberkeit unter aller Kanone, Türschlösser sehr marode. Stinkig im Zimmer, laut und einfach abgewohnt!
