Its location is within 10 minutes walking distance to essen Shopping Street and essen Hbf which I like most. I suggest that there should have 2 bottles of mineral water provided each day as a compliment from the Hotel. In addition, Internet service should be provided free as this is a 4-star Hotel. |

Ideal location for shopping in Essen and attending Messe Essen conventions/exhibitions. Good breakfast choices. Smoking permitted in the Bar |

The town itself, location (close to rail-station and trams), friendly staff, swimming pool and that's it. 1) Snacks adverted all around the place but available only from 5 pm. 2) The soap in toilet facilities of the ground floor was absent all three days of my stay (inspite of signatures in the proper condition table) 3) safe batteries were dead, safe was unlocked quickly, but new batteries were not installed till check out, 4) way to swimming pool is too long and poorly marked. |

Staff was very nice and helped me out a couple of times. Room was also nice. Not too far to public transportation and only one station to the hauptbahnhof so walking to the city center was quite ok as well. There was a slight smell of drain/sewer in the bathroom and if you had a shower in the evening towels were still damp in the morning which might suggest the ventilation needs improvement. |

If you are attending Equitana-this is a great choice. Five minutes from the Messe-you could walk there and save the parking hassle. great staff. The breakfast buffet is expensive E15, but worth it for the quality and convenience. the indoor poola nd sauna was very nice and you can relax with your family!! |

I liked the big space in the room, the comfortable bed, the kindness of the stuff and the rich breakfast.the green bulb in the bathroom above the bath is a really nice idea! I didn't much like the access and the opening time for the swimming pool - there were no clean towels for the guests, there is no privacy in the changing rooms and above all, you can hardly swim in the pool....though it's ideal for elderly people. |

rooms are large and comfortable, if a little outdated distance to the city centre - one U-bahn stop. the hotel is a 5-7 minute walk from the U-bahn station across some major roads. there is one street of shops/restaurants within walking distance. however the low room rate reflected the distance from the city. |

This hotel was clean and everything was of a very high standard. Hotel staff were courteous and spoke excellent english. The rooms were large and comfortable with excellent en suite facilities. I would recommend the buffet breakfast with an excellent choice of continental hot and cold foods The sauna only opens up at nightime and the pool is only open morning and evening. It was also quite noisy with the window open (our room was facing the main road) |

Erg aardige mensen, erg flexibel en super schone kamers, Het zwembad was in een andere residentie, je moest een eind lopen op blote voeten en badjas aan, en slecht aangegeven hoe je moest lopen, het zwembad was erg koud en we hebben juist een hotel uitgekozen met zwembad, maar als je daarvoor dit hotel kiest zekers niet doen, |

Wir hatten ein Super-Sonder-Angebot und waren von dem Preis-Leistungsverhältniss begeistert. Ansonsten entspricht das Hotel dem Konzern-Standard: Sauber und freundlich. Das Frühstück haben wir ausgelassen, weswegen dies nicht Bestandteil der Beurteilung ist. |
