Restaurants in the hotel are expansive.

The personnel working there was really nice and helpful!! They told all about the sights, printed timetables and packed us the breakfast to go because we left so early in the morning to the airport. They also have a free taxi service in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The restaurant was really nice too. At the time there was a renovation going on. The was no noise or any disturbamce, but we were still given a bottle of sparkling wine and some cupcakes:)

The room were maybe a bit old, but not for long as the renovation proceeds.. Maybe the beginning of May wasn't the best time to visit Ga-Pa.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to Zugspitze cable car.

This Hotel was a very good choice for our skiing trip, the staff was very helpful, they have very nice breakfast and a shuttle service to take you to the ski lifts, ski rental shop and to train station.

They kept us waiting on one of the ski lifts for 30 min, since the shuttle service forgot us, I guess it was a mistake because of the crowded weekend.

The room is very big on today's standards. There is a nice balcony with spectacular mountain views. The breakfast is excellent and served in an elegant dining room. The outdated room design brought up nostalgic childhood memories. Our room was fitted with a kichenette that may be useful to some. Free parking is a plus but the lot tends to fill early. The hotel operates a very efficient shuttle service to the ski sites and railway station. The welcoming with drinks at the reception and pastry waiting for us in the room was very nice.

Our bathroom was not cleaned and after a while it caught bad smells. It required a word with the front desk that fixed the problem but that shouldn't happen in a 4 stars hotel. Further, the hotel is located well off centre of town. Most of the time this isn't a big problem but if you want to dine or seek apres ski in the evning you better prepare for a hefty 10 minutes walk along an unatractive road to the centre. Hotel's restaurant is very expensive and not for any clear reason. It is also worth mentioning that the swimming pool is very small so if one plans on actually 'swimming' in it he might be disapointed.

The staff were fantastic, very helpful and attentive, friendly. Lovely reception, rustic restaurant with very nice food, excellent breakfast, free wifi, warm room, nice swimming pool and sauna. Though the hotel was not exactly in the town centre, it was a 5 minute walk which was absolutely no problems for us. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to the ski lifts, and even available to pick you up at the end of the day though we made our own way back with the local buses which were free courtesy of the free pass given by the hotel. Really we have no complaints and fully recommend this hotel. If we went back to Garmisch we would stay here again

Nothing really. Maybe the rooms were a bit dated, but certainly not an issue, still very clean, warm, flat screen tv etc

The hotel was fantastic and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very clean and light and spacious. The breakfast was vast and excellent! the shuttle service to and from the ski stations was brilliant. Would definitely stay there again.

We loved everything about our stay from the moment we arrived in Garmisch to the moment we left. Lovely people and great hospitality.

The free shuttle was fantastic and all the staff was very friendly. They even surprised me with a free birthday cake.

Very good hotel. Excellent staff and service. We booked this hotel to go skiing. There was a free shuttle service which brought us to the lifts when we were ready. In the evening a simple phonecall to the hotel and they came to pick us up. Supercomfortable. We got a welcome-drink (prosecco) and sparkling water in the room at arrival. Free WiFi which actually worked.

The interior is a bit "old-fashioned" and in the bavarian tradition but the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable.

The hotel was in a beautiful location and within walking distance to downtown Garmisch.

The room's third bed was not comfortable and not roomy enough for two children.

The room was comfortable, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet had everything you needed. It was a very good stay.

The fact that we wanted to have a drink in the bar, but there were people in there smoking so we had to go to reception to drink it.
