Best Western Hotel Obermühle  

Nothing to like and nothing to complain. Absolutly medium level hotel.

Poor breakfast. No spare place for drying skiboots. Bad roomcleaning.

We really appreciated the charming welcome from the staff and immediate offer of drinks in the comfortable reception area after a tiring journey. We liked the chalet style of the hotel and were pleased that our room had a balcony and view over the garden towards the mountains. The evening meal was very good, with attentive service. We enjoyed a pleasant walk along the river behind the hotel the following morning.

We liked everything about our short stay in this hotel.

The extremely friendly, helpful staff.

There was nothing that I did not like. The room and view were wonderful. The location just a short walk from town so I got some daily exercise but was very near the center of things. The pool was great. The value for the money was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic. I definitely will stay here again soon!

A very good quality hotel with excellent staff in a good location.

Food and service was very good. One staff member in particular was first class with excellent manners and customer care. He was a very articulate and bright individual who has a bright future and would be an extremely valuable asset to any hotel or business. His name was Max and he is a Hotel and leisure Student at Garmisch. Congratulations to him.

The hotel appears tired. In particular the carpets are tired looking and there is a slightly musty smell in some of the corridors. It was also awkward having to travel with a push chair in several cramped lifts to reach the room. The room was about 100 metres back from the reception area.

The hotel provided all the facilities one could expect for a most reasonable price. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful whioch made the stay most pleasurable. The restaurant was good and the breakfast was a particularly good experience. First Class.

doesn't offer extra service for the money that it costs. The rooms and the pool could've been warmer. Woudn't stay there again

Very nice staff , very helpful - good athmosphere

The rooms are comfortable and rather large area. Very quite and relax.

- Very old bathroom - expensive restaurant ( more then 50% from the typical in the city) - a little bit far from the center and the bus stop

We like to visit Bavaria often, and we seek out good hotels where the staff is friendly and helpful to the three of us (the third is a small Pekinese). That we found in the Obermühle Hotel. We also found its location most convenient. Although we do not visit the same Bavarian city regularly, when the opportunity arises again to go to Garmisch, we would certainly hope we can get booking in this hotel for our stay.

We did show the man in charge that our booking by internet showed one or two things which it said was no longer offered. We do believe a business (hotels included) need to keep these advertisements updated as we felt the hotel's decision to decline what we thought we were offered did not go over well with us at the time. I commented to this effect on their after visit comments card. Hopefully the hotel finds this suggestion helpful. If offers are pulled during certain visit times of the year, I do not believe anyone would object to that.

Location and quality

I ordered aa room for 3 person (pairants and a child) and it was not prepaired and than it was charged for a extra bad - but I did pay during booking - very sad.
